RE: Week 5 Prediction Thread
Can someone tell if all those picking Texas State are picking them because they get no respect to Tulsa, even when playing at home, or know something about Texas State that I don't know?

If it's the close loss to Illinois them I'm confused because they would be a bottom feeder in the AAC looking at how they have played this year.

The way I look at it is with two bad teams playing one another, the home team gets the nod. No?

Texas State has a very good offense, and Tulsa doesn't have a very good offense or defense.

I see it as a toss-up, and I probably let the Illinois game influence my decision. Having said that, I hope Tulsa comes out and hangs 40 on them.

Illinois played one team in Washington and got crushed. They would lose to each of the AAC's top 5 or 6 teams handily. They don't belong in the P5 any more then any of our top 5 or 6 teams.

The line opened with Tulsa favored by 5.5 and its at 3 now. You basically get 3 for being a home team. So what Vegas is saying is that on a neutral field this would be a pick 'em. Also last I checked around 70% of betters are taking Texas State as a 3 point dog. Maybe you win tomorrow night, but betters are saying you don't. Betters have been wrong before.

I couldn't pick two upset victories in my predictions. I was caught between Cinci and Memphis pulling it off. I don't think Memphis is quite there yet, so I chose Cinci.

I hope i'm wrong and both pull it off.

All in all, bad week for AAC upcoming, with the potential to go 0-fer in OOC

Bad week for the conference is confirmed...
