I think Memphis has a good chance. Ole Miss has not earned its top ten ranking by any means. They beat the 2014 Boise State team without Chris Petersen as coach, not the stellar 2009, 2010, 2011, or even 2012 team. They beat Vanderbilt like a drum, which about every team that plays Vandy will do. They beat La.-Lafayette quite handily. Why does that garner them a top ten ranking? Because they're in the SEC West, which includes other teams which have mostly proven themselves against inferior competition. It's the only reason I can think of that Ole Miss is in the top ten.

Memphis on the other hand took UCLA down to the wire while playing 2,000 miles from home. They have a good chance. They're experienced and improving under a solid coach.

Cincy has a good chance as well, though I'm fairly sure Ohio State will be more prepared this go-around than they were for Va. Tech.

Tulane: it could happen. I give them a chance but not a great one.

SMU: good luck.

If the league goes 4-0 in those games, it will be bigger than the Fiesta Bowl win, in my opinion, because it will give the league legitimacy for remainder of THIS season. That will help the rest of the league gain credit in the polls, helping to catch the eyes of recruits during the football season. It would DEFINITELY make the league stand out from the other G5 leagues and might bring it close to par with the Big Ten for this year.

^ I've seen Ole Miss play twice. They are legit. Wallace can be erratic under pressure, but he's damn good. Their defense is solid. Only the OL is suspect with the run.

Memphis is likely still missing its best player in DE Martin Ifedi. We're good, but most Memphis fans would be surprised if we actually won.

I appreciate the OP including us, but I'm a bit doubtfull we'll be able to contribute a win this weekend over Wisconsin. I surely hope so, but it would take a miracle.

USF used to win these types of games all the time. I sure hope we can get back to those days fast.
