And I know that you went by this part:

"... The Misery Index knew there were problems with this Syracuse team from the get-go when it needed some semi-miraculous happenings just to escape the season opener with a double-overtime victory over Villanova."

I think when you translate that it means that Sorryexcuse sucks.

or it means that Syracuse is getting 20 mill a year03-nutkick

no but seriously this is the first time i've ever seen an ECU fan acknowledge an article that has the directional school tag.

East Carolina is not actually a directional school in the way that you think. ECU is actually the University of North Carolina-Greenville campus. And North Carolina State is actually the University of North Carolina-Raleigh campus.

i've heard this talking point and the "we are east not eastern so it doesn't count" talking point 1000 times. not taking a side here and questioning whether those talking points are legitimate or not, i've just never seen an ECU fan reference an article that calls ECU directional without going on a rant about how dumb that sportswriter is.

for the sake of brevity, you and the sportswriter can refer to ECU as the "team that will have a better ACC record than Syracuse, is ranked and doesnt play in a dome that smells like garbage, urine and stinky feet"

for the sake of brevity

You forgot the part about the dome being a good place to get stabbed:
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketba...ness-event

For a while, we were calling the Syracuse Carrier Dome the "Stabacuse Scarier Dome"
03-lmfao

This coming from a UConn Fan?

Jasper Howard is so proud of you.

Fact is when you bring in 30k fans in for a hoops game there is always a few thugs...throw out a Midnight Madness, with a RAP artist and free admission and a stabbing happened...so what. Fans of Memphis and UConn have no ground to stand on here.

#butthurtfanboyz

Jasper Howard got stabbed on a sidewalk by some punk who wasn't a student. He didn't get stabbed in one of our arenas. So, yes, this is coming from a UConn fan. A stabbing in rural Storrs is rare. Are you actually trying to argue that that rural Storrs is more dangerous than grubby Syracuse? I suppose that you think that the cows and horses in Storrs are dangerous gang members? 03-lmfao Syracuse is an absolute toilet bowl of a city. It makes Hartford look like Paris.

RE: Misery Index
And the punk who stabbed another punk in the Dome were not students either...I find it hypocritical to bring up a stabbing from a UConn fan.

Sorry but Hartford is no Paris...in fact it has a higher crime rate than Syracuse..so it is not only a sh!thole but a dangerous one.
