RE: Temple stadium questions
If you make it into center city go to Reading Terminal Market. Rittenhouse Square area is nice. And if you're up for it the Nothern Liberties/Fishtown area is trendy.

Closer to the stadium is the Passyunk Ave restaurant scene.

RE: Temple stadium questions
Xfinity Live is what you're looking for if you're coming and don't have a car. Or hell, walk around Lot K and some of our fans might be friendly enough to offer you a beer.

The problem with the stadium area, it is pretty much just the stadiums and Xfinity Live. There are some other places maybe within walking distance like Chickie's & Pete's or Philadium, but they are a 15-20 minute walk up a busy road.

When you guys get to the stadium, recommend getting some crab fries (with the cheese sauce) and trying some local beer. Yards is my go to, probably the most popular Philadelphia brewery. Yards Pale Ale is good, or Brawler.

Dont waste your money on those disgusting fries. Philly is a top notch restaurant city. Save your money and calories for real food after the game.

Pirate fans, unlike Nits, will be welcomed. Im sure many will offer to share from their bounty.
I hope you enjoy Philly. The weather is usually nice that time of year.
If you bring the Eastern Carolina cue I'll swap some stories.

I'm not sure how it is out East, but in Western PA all the brands have that crappy lemon flavoring added to it.

I'm looking forward to the game. Never been to a game of any kind in Philly since the Vet closed! Sounds like a lot of Pirates will be there too.

There are now 'boutique' ice teas available.
