Line opened at -24. Already down to -20. Take 'em while you can get 'em.

I think the Memphis game is definitely winnable. Memphis is legit this year and Ole Miss is a nearby rival. There's a good chance they'll be overlooking the Tigers too. I'm looking forward to that game.

Memphis is playing Ole Miss, ranked 11--the University of Mississippi--not Mississippi State otherwise known as Moo U.

I would love to post the confusion on an Ole Miss board though.

We are playing Ole Miss and not Miss St. Ole Miss is coming off a bye-week and I doubt seriously they are overlooking Memphis. The game is important to Ole Miss because it rewards fans living in the Memphis area, improves media coverage in Memphis, and builds corporate relationships.

Quote: “It’s exciting for our fans both in Memphis and here in the state to see this natural rivalry resume in both sports,” Bjork (AD) said. “The Memphis community is a priority, and this series is important for our growing alumni base in the area.

“From a football standpoint, Coach (Hugh) Freeze and I have the same scheduling philosophy and agreed it was imperative to continue to brand our program and put the Ole Miss flag in Memphis.”

RE: Week 5 Vegas Lines
Ole Miss looks tough so far this year. I think we can play them close, if we play well, but I don't expect us to win. Ole Miss is good enough that things could get out of hand, so I wouldn't bet a penny on this game, either way.

I mean, we are a helluva lot better this year, but we aren't Top 10 good.

Im glad ECU gets a break. We needed to catch our breath..put the last 2 wins behind and heal a few bumps and bruises. Should be ready for SMU in a couple of weeks.

You could play SMU tomorrow and beat them by 30.

Any team could play SMOO now and win! But they will get better, just need to hire the right coach (not ours).

True, but not my point, that SMU could get better eventually. Everybody who is bad can do that. We are living proof.

But right now, ECU doesn't need rest to breathe and heal, to beat SMU, b/c they are so bad.
