i think so, not smacking. the weather was good and their is a lot of enthusiasim. there may have also been an enexpensive ticket deal too. i am sure middle brought at least a couple thousand, possibly as many as 3000.

i wanna say our worst attendance at the darkest hour was something like 4100 in the rain a few years ago.

i was at all of the liberty bowl games that were in the 65,000 plus before the seating was redone and reduced into 57,0000 something but they involved an SEC team like utk or miss. i think this was the 8th highest attendance for a non sec team.

we can put the fans 20000 in when we are average. Abover average we break the high to mid 30's . Good teams we start hitting the forties. big inconference teams we should hit 50 if we are winning. utk and miss will be hard sellouts 57 +.

a lot of memphis fans have watched a lot of bad football over the years, but they keep coming.
