My opinion of Everyteam
4 weeks and i think ive gotten the gist of every team.. attack at me if you like
ECU:
looks to be the clear favorites, offense looks amazing, but i honestly thought the same thing about ECU last year in c-usa this point in the season
USF:
im not a fan of white or a fan of usf's offensive system. they have talent literally everywhere else on the field to rival any conference team.. but their 2 biggest short comings are probably the 2 biggest factors in college football today. i only see 2 winnable games left on the schedule for them and i wouldnt mark those as easy wins for them either
Tulsa:
Defense is horrible, offense is mediocre to start off with but is also very turnover prone, but are weirdly enough still in the bowl picture with a manageable schedule but i dont see it,
Cincy:
a very Good offense but still needs work and a horrible defense, firing your old DC despite being a good defense because he couldn't recruit on high level seems questionable now.. i still think they can beat miami, and maybe even ohio state..maybe..but this is the kinda of football that gets you upset by some team no one expected..im calling it now, cincy will have atleast 1 head scratcher loss
Temple:
Offense isnt as good as expected but still very good, Defense is dramatically better than expected but their secondary hasnt been tested yet which was the big problem last year. should be a bowl team
Memphis:
good offense, elite run defense, questionable pass defense. the next 3 game are program defining games for them that could change the course of Memphis football. beat Ole Miss to change the national perception likely becoming top 25, then beating cincy/houston would establish memphis as a conference power..beyond that its the dont get upset games by team that you should blowout
(me personally i want memphis to be good as they are one of the few teams that can average 50k+ when winning and as a Houston fan, they are the only other public school in our division starting next year so their is rivalry potential there)
UCF:
defense hasnt been looking as good as expected but still very good, ucf fans hyped the running game but that isnt that good (i always felt ucf fans undervalued the impact of johnson and losing him he had cut-ability and was a game changer, stanback is a great RB but he isnt the same type of RB johnson was) Hollman has been up and down, if ucf is to repeat a conference championship it will be on him and how quick he can get to speed, he has shown he can be game changer but he needs to show it more consistently
SMU:
defense is horrible, offense is horrible, but ironically they have found a spark on the offense wit their 4th string qb, he was moving the ball yesterday, more than any of the smu qbs can say..smu has players, they will either crumble or rally behind each other in the next few games
UConn.:
its not even that i think they are bad, they just arent good..outside off davis who they dont really even pass it too that much lack playmakers. they take almost no risks, they honestly play not to lose despite the fact they are still losing..they are trying to play 7-6 type games when opposing teams are actually scoring 28 to 38..
Houston:
pretty good D creates a lot of turnovers, up and down on offense, some games the pass looks bad but run looks great, the other run looks great and pass looks bad..or in utsa both looked bad..we'll find out alot vs UCF.
Tulane:
they are not a good team this year and will not a make a bowl, but will be competing for a conference title in 2years. anyone who looks at their scores will think they are horrible and getting blowout but those games if you actually watched will know those games were competitive and tulane is actually moving the ball but are like giving up 4-5 turnovers a game. but are extremely young, outside of WR almost all their top players are freshmen.
