After a huddle on the sideline with the MSU staff, the ref pics up the flag and the umpire announces "there is no flag for intentional grounding as the receiver ran the wrong route."

SEC has the worst refs of any sport on the planet.

Did this REALLY happen?
I would love to see video.

You know, I have to agree. I've watched SEC conference games and have seen -- too many times -- absolutely horrid officiating.

You'd think w/ as much cash as the league has hidden under the couch cushions, they would bolster their officiating crews.

Oh, I am pretty sure the referees are being bol$tered!
There is too much $$$ to be made.

Not true. The Boise State guys had to endure an SEC offciating crew. In the face off all ettiquite - The SEC does what it pleases.

Ole Miss was technically the road team in Atlanta.

I meant Moo is better.

Sorry.

Perhaps you guys can get more sympathy here on a Memphis board.

And other than knowing Moo has dominated your series in recent years, I had not idea who won some 2012 game, but based on recent history just assumed it was another Moo win...but I guess it was Mississippi's one win.

Sorry.

Are Memphis fans whining on a Mississippi board about a bad call in our 2012 win over Southern Miss?
