It was indeed an excellent article. Brian Bennett wrote for the Courier-Journal and covered CUSA and The Big East. The reality is, even with the snide remarks, nothing has changed for AAC teams from The Big East days. The same can most likely be said of ACC, PAC and Big 12 teams. If your team isn't undefeated, you wont make the playoffs.

With that being said UC has a tremendous opportunity to make a statement on Saturday night. Good luck to The Bearcats. We will be rooting for you in Louisville.

It was a good read and it explained that the G5 highest-ranked conference champion could go to either the Cotton, Peach or Fiesta Bowl. I was under the impression from others on this board that it was only the Peach or the Fiesta bowl.

Yeah, so was I. Actually, the possibilities change each year, depending on which two bowls host the semifinals, and where the ousted host bowl tenants roll to.

There's no reason Cincy can't win this game. VT went in there and beat them and VT isn't really worth a crap.

Word on the street is that we don't get AAC officials for this game. When you travel OOC you are supposed to bring your officials. Big Ten officials screwed over so bad @Illinois last season. The Big Ten sent an apology to UC for the officiating. We will get hosed.

Forgot about that. Gotta overcome!

Anyone that has some thought that OSU does not have better athletes, facilities and support than VT and UC...is delusional. We are talking about a program that historically one of the top 10 in the nation. Can UC beat them? Yes. They have done it before. Inferring that because VT beat them in their home opener after having to prepare for an unorthodox Navy team means they are not good?...would be a grave mistake IMO.

It will take UC's best performance of the season to come away from the shoe with a W. I hope they can pull it off.04-cheers
