See now that was totally uncalled for! Here we all were heartily prepared to release our deep seated hatred of each other in a purge style release. A release I might add made so much worse this year because of all the sickly sweet niceties that we endured saying about each other as we moved divisions. And you had to go and say something that we can ALL agree about!?! What were you thinking?! Yes BVG IS and will always be an ass. And only his particular DNA can forms cells into that hideous pornstache.

How about some position by position breakdowns? Defensive schemes? Best plays and defending them? You know, something actually relevant to the game and/or the season at hand? Novel, I know.

Lastly, 17 threads about this game will have a tendency to end up merged.

Most of the teams in the SB were once FCS or D2, and most of the SB teams are teams we used to play then as well. Although I can see where the NC comparisons can get old I don't see where its hurting anyone or inflammatory or even against the rules of the site.

That picture doesn't do the creek justice actually. I know its not "A river runs through it" but many times it would fill up and look really nice. To others it may seem ugly but to us its beautiful.

Not at all. Just seemed like a made up NCAA bone because they were not giving the division what they promised. Just like attendance has over all been bad for playoff games it shows how much people cared, not a lot. Additionally back then they were not even on TV that often. No one could tell you who won it, no one knew who played in it or didn't. So many schools wondered why put your team through that for basically nothing. Even now a lot of schools do not see participating in it.

So are we being moderated for discussing our combined 9 championships that adds history and excellence to this rivalry? Why are you so worried about the GS and App thread? Let us have our rivalry this week, enjoy us being occupied with each other, maybe even admire how much disdain we have for each other while still respecting (sometimes) each other.

Yep, that was the Georgia State MO...

State MO was act like you've won the superbowl, get mad when people don't respect your ESPN magazine cover and your empty NFL stadium, all before playing a down.

But that's a story for another day.

The more I thought about it, this week is proof of my live for App State. I'm willingly leaving the High Country during foliage to go to Statesboro, Georgia to watch my team play.

I should get a medal for going to Statesboro as many times as I have.
