Agree, the Red Wolves looked pretty good. Utah State was a co-favorite in the Mountain Division of the MWC. I think you guys are setting up pretty well to take the SBC.

I have to admit, its nice to be able to play like crap and beat one of the top teams of a respected FBS conference. Football is a funny game. We got dominated in several categories, and La Tech dominated in several categories. We each had 5 turnovers. Yet somehow, we beat a Top rated MWC team and they lost to FCS Northwestern State.

Its amazing how things can just go your way sometimes.

I think it was disturbing more than bad... our schools play some winning G5 programs and lose, which I think diminishes some of the past successes - overall though not much worse than expected.

Karma. It's what happens when we post too many things about how well we're doing. lol

Not really puzzling. You are making the same mistake LA Tech's fans and team made. Northwestern State was just better than us. They played harder, and wanted it more. Their QB was great, and played an almost flawless game. Everybody underestimated NSU, including me.

That and 3 consecutive TO's in the 2nd half of the 4th quarter on our side of the field will do it
