Here's a fact that I saw the other day and made me laugh...

MAC Conference Championship Games won by division...

1.) MAC West - 6
2.) C-USA East - 5
MAC East - 5

Given our current three game lead in the MAC East standings (and that we own the tiebreaker with common opponents), we'd be in good shape to move C-USA East into a first place tie with the MAC West.

Marshall outscores their MAC scheduled teams 134-57. And at least the last 4 TDs, Ohio's 2 TDs and Akron's 2 TDs was scored on our 2nd and 3rd string defense. Our 1st team defense hasn't had a TD scored on them since the 4th quarter of the Little Miami game.

I've never seen a fanbase so owned by a team not even on the schedule...

Actually, with NIU's blowout loss, I do think it is pretty much down to ECU or Marshall for the Access Bowl slot.
