Weather tonight
Could be dicey. Forecast radar showing a potential line of storms rolling through around 9. If the game goes into a delay it could stay that way for a while.

Yeah, showing like 59% chance of showers around 9-10PM with 7-8 mph winds out of the SW.

It's out in Iowa yet; hopefully it will break up by the time it gets here.

Man, as of right now in Toledo, it is absolutely gorgeous. Couldn't ask for better fall weather than this. Really hope it stays somewhat like this for tonight.

Man, there was a thin frontal line that was nothing back in Iowa; now that it's getting into Indiana it is really firing up! 04-jawdrop

Unfortunately it appears as if it may reach the glass bowl around the fourth quarter and it could be quite intense. Hopefully the outcome of the game will not be in doubt by that time because rain is one thing but severe lightening is quite another. I still remember the lightening strike on Lee Corso's rental car in the Virginia Tech parking lot several years ago during a game.

For the past few days, the weatherman have been predicting the rain to come thru Toledo around 8-10p.

RE: Weather tonight
Game at Illinois has been delayed in the 2nd quarter, I assume due to weather.

Looks like we won't get to halftime, possibly even end of the 1st, before the rain comes. Hopefully no lightning.

Game has finally resumed. And Illinois trails Texas State 14-6 in the second quarter.

RE: Weather tonight
So I decide to not go down to the game because of a cold. Lucky decision given the 2 1/2 hour delay. I watch it on ESPN and go to bed around 1 am to start my Nyquil induced coma. Wake up Sunday morning and no power in the house. Went into the office to get ready for the week - then I find out today that a tornado touched down two streets over in my neighborhood. Ripped off roofs, uprooted trees and tore siding off houses - but no injuries or deaths reported. It happened at 6 am Sunday morning. No sirens went off and it literally passed right over the top of my house. The furniture on my patio didn't move an inch and I heard nothing. How the hell does that happen?

Only hit in my neighborhood and only across three streets - no other areas affected. Winds were only 90 - 100mph and was category EF-1 - whatever that means.

I'm supposed to go to Cabo in 3 weeks. They got hit by a hurricane last week, now my neighborhood gets hit by a tornado, and then I lose my passport and have to get one expedited. Should I really go afterall? Seems like three messages being sent.
