So now you want him thrown out of the stadium too? People are pathetic on this. His past shouldn't matter because double jeopardy should not be used. He had been punished for all his acts that deserved a punishment. And no being accused of rape is not a crime. I know idiots think someone does that no matter what the courts say, but the case didnt even go to trial.

UF suspended their players for a game. When rain cancelled it, they let them back in....

Nick Marshall was kicked out of Georgia before coming to Auburn. He gets busted for pot and gets a half game suspension.

The SEC media on ESPN and Paul Finebaum have been riding Winston all year long. They swept those issues above under the rug while riding Winston for 3 days straights. FSU's administration has no backbone and caved to the pressure. A full game for this was ridiculous.

Thank God FSU stuck it too them and won anways. Dbag Finebaum probably cried himself to sleep last night.

I'm going to tell you this and whether you believe me or not is entirely on you. Jamies is a huge disappointment within his community. Yes, he has his supporters but even some of them are disappointed with the actions of a Heisman Trophy winner. When you do things like:

1. Sexual assault allegations
2. Stealing crabs legs from a grocery store.
3. Jumping on a table yelling "F**k her right in the *uss*" in front of students even if it is a tasteless running joke.

At some point someone needs to take this young man, sit him down, and have a serious heart to heart with Jamies. There have been players suspended from games that weren't allowed to even be on the sidelines but yet this dumb*** has the audacity to actually suit up like he's some got damn Avenger already.

He should not had even been in the sideline or in the stadium and if you don't like what I had to say then oh well.

Not to mention, he lied telling administrators he didn't do it. After being exposed on social media, he was forced to come clean. In this instance, I agree his action was just really stupid. If he didn't have a trend of behaving badly and lying, I doubt he would be facing this punishment.

He is setting a very disturbing pattern, and it is apparent he is not above subterfuge to cover his behavior. Regardless of his ability to play ball, he has to function within the rules of his team and university. More importantly, he needs to function within the rules of society.

I was talking to one of his high school teachers last night and she said he has been this way the entire time she has known him

I found the cut to him when Clemson got that late pick and things looked to be going pear shaped. He was feelin' mighty low here... pondering his speed vs. tens of thousands of angry fans 03-lmfao

The worst part of being suspended was all that missed camera time, and not being discussed or mentioned after every play.

Link that he lied to them? Sure ESPN and their propaganda machine are saying that is the reason the suspension was extended, but I saw no proof. Just ESPN's usual "sources" claim which 90% of their garbage reportings use now.

My guess (which is what ESPN is doing) is that the administration had no backbone and just bowed to the pressure of the media (led by ESPN). They wouldn't let it go and got their way on getting the whole game. Now that FSU overcame it and won, they are dwelling on all the negatives still. They just moved on to the uniform thing (really who cares....) and now they are bringing up Title IX again. ESPN is pathetic.

What the hell does the air taste like in the universe you inhabit? "Proof"? "Double jeopardy"? This is not a court of law even if there was a legal case that happened to be pending. His coaches and the administration of the school he attends have every right - in fact, the responsibility - to unilaterally decide what actions and/or attitudes are acceptable what aren't. If you can't acknowledge that the young man has established an unquestionable pattern of disrespectful and unacceptable behavior, especially after it being made clear he's on thin ice, then you might want to look in the mirror for the party with a biased agenda.

And a word on the sexual assault allegation: The law enforcement community might be done with it, but apparently the university isn't.

Yes double jeopardy. Meaning tried for the same crime (or in this case not crimes) twice. He has been punished for all the past stuff yet ESPN keeps bringing it up as if it should build for this instance. No the suspension should have been for only repeating the vulgar vine. And even a half game is ridiculous for that.

I'm mad at him for messing up but the punishment did not compute with the action.

Na you guys can go with the "homer" blast which is easy, but I'm not like that. I just don't buy the propaganda and slant that ESPN perpetuates. The bottom line is this action getting a full game is absurd. And now since that didnt stop FSU from winning, they are moving on and blasting them in other ways.

Ragu is right. It is absolutely obvious that a female FSU student, ESPN, Kroger, Burger King, and the FSU administrators are collectively involved in some grand conspiracy against Winston. If you can't see that, your tin foil hat must be malfunctioning.

I knew I should have bought a brand name, but I confess. I was trying to save money and went generic. My bad!

Posts like this are just wastes of time. Not what I'm saying at all but props on being ridiculous.

As I said, bringing up other instances is ridiculous.

-He didnt rape the girl. It never even got to trial. Accusation doesn't equal crime. But to many idiots, if you are accused, you did it automatically.

-Burger King thing. Really? Another who cares moment. A ketchup shot of pop OMG. Yeah that reporting reinforces my point on ESPN.

-Publix. Hello he was punished! You want him in jail for 10 years for 30 bucks worth of food? He paid it back, did his community service, and was suspended.

The bottom line is ESPN went 3 days slamming Winston and FSU and got the propaganda train rolling. FSU admins bowed to the pressure and extended the suspension which already was way harsh for the action.

And FSU won anyways so now ESPN is moving on bashing them in other ways. Anyone watching the postgame could see the slants. Heck Lou Holtz flat out said his ND team lost after getting best shots and being cocky. He then stated flat out that FSU will have it catch up with them down the road (with a smirk).

The "reporting" is very biased to say the least.

So, you can't see a pattern of bad decisions? Everyone gets accused of rape. Stealing only matters if you take a full cup, and the manager asking you to leave repeatedly can be ignored. Everyone does it. We can totally ignore his second theft because he paid for the first. Since he can play football, ESPN wants to destroy him (as a sports network, they have no interest in promoting good athletes), and FSU will cave to ESPN because it looks wonderful for the national perception of the university to have these deeds rehashed.

Your post is the waste of time, and it's obvious.

Stop with the hyperbole. It is absurd.

I never said I condoned stuff he did, but let's get real here. You haven't done anything stupid when you were young? The crab stealing was the only criminal thing and he was punished for it. The other stuff is minor stuff. If this were before social media, you wouldn't have even heard on the Burger King stuff and the vulgar phrase stuff. It is THAT minor.

But in this new world where everything can be shared and ESPN can pull their slant job, they can bury some teams daily and prop others (or conferences like the SEC) up. They pick and choose if they fawn over Winston's mistakes and if they bury the UF stuff (suspensions cut after a rainout) or Marshall (pot gets half game).

The fact is that they have a lot of power and it is scary how people can't notice their slanted reporting and its influence.

Everything you said about ESPN is true.

However, Winston repeatedly embarrassing his school is also true.

Double jeopardy does not apply to anything outside of the criminal justice system. What don't you understand about that? If a man establishes a pattern of cheating, lying, and blowing money...guess what? He's a piece of dirt and a smart woman leaves him. You think a prior incident doesn't count because she went and spent a week with her mother? His coaches and the school have more responsibility than to just give him a platform to play football and an education. Universities have codes of conduct for a reason and coaches should, too (if they don't, Lou Holtz is actually right...it will come back to bite them and the team in the long run). His suspension wasn't just for what he did this past week, it was for the pattern he is establishing HIMSELF of being an irresponsible, disruptive, disrespectful punk...not a young man being awarded an education at an institute of learning. He is 100% responsible for changing his outlook on life. But it's screwed up enablers like you that encourage him to think he's not and is just being singled out and persecuted. Long term, watch him and a guy like Manziel to see how their life turns out.

RE: OT: Jameis Winston suspended entire game now!!!
As I stated, you can see the inappropriate yelling as just a stupid kid. I struggle with theft (twice) and a rape charge added to the mix. While it may be easy to dismiss the Burger King thing, the police were called because he wouldn't leave. There was a police report, so no social media scrutiny needed. No hyperbole.

ESPN has a lot of power and they can slant coverage, but I don't think they just chose to target Jameis. He has to be accountable for his COLLECTIVE actions, and what they say about his character. I think the university had every right to exclude him from the game given the circumstances. Whether they did that because of pressure is moot. As many NFL players know, behavior has consequences regardless of your football ability. Hopefully, this will be his [/i]wake-up call. Time will tell.
