Acting like trash? Because two UVA players tried to pin Quick against the wall for making a tackle on a kid he thought made an interception? Looked like clean football to me, 'til the UVA guys took it to another level. At which point, I would've been disappointed had our boys NOT taken up for him.
And why the hate anyhow? We're over here complimenting and paying attention to your conference. We weren't talking smack, so why start? That's the kind of stuff that gets you guys mocked over on the damned Realignment board!
Some habits die hard. I was groomed to hate Louisville from an early age after years of listening to radio play by play legend Jack Eaton call Memphis/Louisville games.
I live in Western Kentucky now (Madisonville), and my wife was treated for cancer by Lynn Parker...one of the top doctors in the state at Louisville's hospital....so I have been given a grudging respect for the Cardinals.
Your doctors rock anyhow. 8-)

But, in that scenario, it's hard to imagine that neither ECU nor Cincinnati wins the American and doesn't take the G5 access bowl bid - and thus, plays in the NY6 anyway.
No there won't. There will not be a SINGLE critic out there who questions the Big Ten's "worthiness" for their contract bowl.

Yes. That was the point I was trying to get across to Wilkie.

Maybe the 6th power conference of FCS football....LMAO!!!!

Hey douchebag, go back to your schedule of beating the divine sisters of mercy U, et al.. And thumping your chest over it. No one who follows college football gives a rats rump about Marsha.
RE: I want to make one thing perfectly clear about the American Conference!
I think Marshall has a good team. It's not the teams fault they play probably one of the worst schedules I've ever seen. Unfortuneatly for them they aren't going to get the respect they deserve. Again, I think they have a good team and at least would compete in the upper portion of the AAC or MWC this year if we are being honest.

Sisters of Mercy was last week. This week it's Huntington Cosmetology College.

Wilkie -
I hope you make the trip in a few years to check out our new digs. I am convinced that we are using the Louisville model and I would love to hear the impressions of you and others who witnessed the Cardinals' climb firsthand to give your estimate of how far we have to go/what we still need to do.

Then why do you post about the AAC expanding needlessly to include teams like Georgia State (who you'd never advocate for being in UL's conference)?

Ha, this Memphis fan saw the Dead play at the Fillmore East on July 4, 1970 from midnight until 5 AM, complete with the Merry Pranksters shooting off roman candles in the theater--far out, lol. Top that!
Seriously, Louisville is the poster child for doing everything right in getting admitted to the P5. Twenty years ago, Louisville football had all the prestige of Memphis football.
But Louisville set its nose to the grindstone long term--built the facilities, increased the budget, hired the right people, and voila, worked its way up. The old fashioned way--they earned it.
