All I can say, it what are these kids thinking? Just doesn't make much sense to me. You can say all you want about these kids struggling financially because they cant have jobs and come from poor backgrounds, but that doesn't change the fact that these kids are college athletes, in some sort of spotlight and they simply aren't going to get away with it. ESPECIALLY at a casino or Walmart where there are 1000 cameras watching everything they do.

I guess I just come from a different world that this, but it really just doesn't make a lick of sense to me to jeapordize the opportunity that you have for something so foolish.

Parents, specifically fathers, are not leading these young men well.

PSL kids? Just kidding...I don't want to start down that road...but it is a classic CD/DB debate.

forgot to mention HS kids like Jayru from Cass Tech who apparently 3 hours after he left juvie lock up assaulted his girlfriend at school and was re-arrested.

Good call CMTSU. I read about that over the weekend and probably should have added that one. Now THAT guy is a bonehead and just a plain bad guy. But again whats really sad about that is he had an opportunity to go to MSU, get a quality education and change his life for the better. Now I would guess and unfortunately kinda hope that he isn't going to get that chance. He may have to go somewhere far away where these issues aren't such a common knowledge.

Dumb decisions that just destroy great opportunities for young, most likely underprivileged kids, that they wouldn't otherwise have.
