Hopefully UCF loses one more game this year, but other than that, I see them putting together a 8-4 or 9-3 type season, which considering what they lost last year in talent, is not too shabby, IMO.

I think we will see Missouri finish in the middle of the pack of the SEC east which shows UCF to be a 6-6 team at best.

Funny, the Florida contingent of the AAC is supposed to be strong, we both suck.

I still see the UCF/ECU game as having a very good chance in deciding the champion. UCF is not a bad team. I expect them to have a say in all of this.

Another UCF fan here to specifically give major props to ECU for that huge victory yesterday. I had a lot of family over for a UCF viewing party and we obviously didn't have much to cheer for after the 4th quarter started for our game. We were all rooting you guys on and couldn't be happier that you pulled it off. We both have our share of knuckleheads on message boards but I'm really really happy to be back in the same conference with you guys.

Contrary to the OP I think UCF will pull it together, we have some OL and defensive issues we need to correct, but I think we're going to be okay this year. This isn't any excuse on our game, but we were driving for the lead late in the 3rd when there was a tipped at the line interception. Wheels fell off in the 4th, but I still think 9-3/8-4 is very attainable and our final game at your place could have a lot on the line. I may have to make my 3rd road trip up to Greenville!

Let us know if you come up. Ill give you directions to my parking spot....beers on me.04-cheers

Other than UConn winning the NC, the UCF bowl win was the most important, positive single event occuring last year for the AAC. Let's hope Cincy and ECU picks up the standard now.

Tulsa has terrific Olympic sports and will represent us well all-around in the conference. Every so often, they'll have good years in football, I guess this is another slump.

They were the best team in CUSA while they were in it. More wins.. more championships... UCF was 2nd or 3rd in the conference during the same period.

How about giving Tulsa a little more credit. They've put together about a decade of quality football.

2013 3-9
2012 11-3
2011 8-5
2010 10-3 #24
2009 5-7
2008 11-3
2007 10-4
2006 8-5
2005 9-4
2004 4-8
2003 8-5

There coach just won the same CUSA 2 years ago that UCF, ECU, Houston etc were in. That's the kind of program I would gladly associate with, especially with quality basketball as well.

Tulsa was not a bad add. There are a lot of fans here that know just how tough they've been on the gridiron over the past decade. They have a down year every few years but they'll put it together again like they always do.

This. Some of our fans really need to step back from the ledge and take a few breaths. Missouri had two DE's that were better than any singular DE we'll face the rest of the year, and so far our O-line is our only major liability. Missouri will be a top 3 SEC team this year, they're a damn good squad, and their biggest strength directly opposed our biggest team weakness. That's a really important reason why this game ended the way it did.

I know 38-10 just sounds awful, but we were only outgained by 22 yards even counting in the half-dozen 4th quarter sacks. The game wasn't the shellacking that the scoreboard shows.

RE: Thank you ECU and Cincy
Tulsa will have to come in and win to earn my respect. They do that, and I will change my tune.

UC came into the Big East and we faced the same thing by lot of (not all) Pitt, Cuse, etc fans. The difference is, Pitt fans never did respect UC, even after we started kicking their a$% annually, and despite the fact we had more Big East Championships from 2005 to the end than Pitt, Cuse, and RU combined. I may be snubbing my nose at Tulsa now, but if they start winning, I will at least have the courtesy to give them props.
