Improvement Noticed Much More Needed
Two weeks ago I was able to listen to the game on the radio. This week I had to rely on espn.com for score updates and the comments on the game thread since I am in Montana.

When the season started I wanted to see improvement and I wanted to see the team play 60 minutes of football instead of 30-45 like last year. So far I am liking some of the things I didn't see last year and still wanting to see improvements in other areas.

Offense - For the first time in a long time the Broncos have a balanced attack. Over 200 yards passing and rushing against Idaho. 2 passing touchdowns by Terrell and 3 rushing touchdowns by Franklin. Only 1 turnover in the first two games, but a costly one it was. O-line is much better than last season.

Defense - The D-line was solid against the run. Nice to see they remembered how to sack the quarterback.

Secondary - Maybe they should stop running their mouth to the Gazette about how they are going to be this and that and start focusing on their next opponent. Start watching game film, hit the weights and know your assignments.

Special Teams - Start preparing for the next game. Practice your butts off. Hire a new special teams coach.

Penalties - Way to many. Control your temper. Watch the ball. Know the play called.

Overall grade through two - C-

I initially said maybe 3 wins. Looking at the games played by our MAC opponents so far I can see 4 more wins and the Broncos have a chance to go 5-7.Possible wins this season:

Murray State
Ohio
Miami
EMUgly

This is my opinion based on what I have heard and read while traveling the highways and byways of this country.

RE: Improvement Noticed Much More Needed
Here's my renewed predictions:

Murray State: 92% Chance of winning
@VaTech: 20% Chance (VaTech is vulnerable; they're not God)
Toledo: 35% Chance (Depends on which Toledo team shows up)
@BSU: 40% Chance (BSU has good D; Poor O. May change if they get their O running OK, especially if our D continues to be BLAH)
@BGSU: 30% Chance (BGSU's D is suspect unlike last year, but their O is SOLID)
Ohio: 50% Chance
@Miami: 60% Chance (Assuming Miami-OH doesn't get things going with new coach by this time)
EMU: 70% Chance (EMU sucks and we smell blood & revenge)
@CMU: 40% Chance (Seem high? Could be. Depends which CMU team shows up. Purdue/CMU or Syracuse/CMU? We'll be fired up and honed skills by this time)
NIU: 25% Chance

4.62-5.38 (W-L next 10 games). Already 1-1.

No Rounding up unless it's by a .9 -- 5-7.

-----------
LOW-EXPECTATIONS: 3-9 (Idaho, Murray State, and Miami or EMU)
REASONABLE EXPECTATIONS: 4-8 (Idaho, Murray State, Miami, and EMU)
UPPER EXPECTATIONS: 5-7 (Idaho, Murray State, Miami, Ohio, and EMU)
HIGH-EXPECTATIONS: 6-6 (Idaho, Murray State, Miami, Ohio, EMU and upsetting BSU or CMU)
YOU'RE ON CRACK!: 7-5 (Idaho, Murray State, Miami, Ohio, EMU, BSU, and CMU)

If Rawls is out.. I give us a pretty good chance Purdue/CMU or Syracuse/CMU? We'll be fired up and honed skills by this time)
