Gotta love the ignorance with the comment about ECU and athletic academic admissions. I assume they were referring to NQs. How many years does it take for people to catch up with what is really happening?

I've never had an issue with state fans and ive always felt our fan bases are fairly similar. I think most Pirate fans are more excited about the NCST games than the UNC anyway. Thank god we dont have to 'tailgate' in chapel hill this year

Even those that flat out hate ECU for the most part seem to love Ruff.

I do think Ruff's about the only football coach on the planet that could write a children's book and get away with it.

I assume you're not blindly trolling. But the only way Ruff leaves is if the admin fires him. He grew up in eastern NC. He went here under Pat Dye. His family, both blood and otherwise is here. He doesn't have any desire to leave, ever.

Most NCSU fans respect Ruff, now some of the fans is another story. Typically, I would root for ECU over UNC. After some of the Pirate fans on this board, I can say I will not ever root for UNC but I can't root for ECU like I did in the past. Guess, I will just skip the game and enjoy whoever loses. UNC loses, they get their first loss. If ECU loses, Access bowl dreams die on the vine. As for my Pack, I am still just hoping to get three more wins to get bowl eligible.

That's swell. Glad you keep up with that. Only way it will affect us is if one of Asst. Coaches leave.

Ruff's not looking to start over. He's got his foundation built.

Same could be said for coaches Connors and Doll, both of whom have already come "home". I'll throw DC Smith in this category too.

I fully expect Lincoln Riley to move on, most likely back to Texas, but would be pleasantly surprised if he stays.
