I found the civil engineering student's comment that the way to make concrete float is to make it less dense than water a little weak. Yes, a lump of concrete embedded with polystyrene foam pellets might float in water. But the way to make a concrete canoe float, together with its occupant load, is to have the hull displace water in excess of the total weight of the loaded canoe. Totally not the same thing. They should know better.

Still, I like the poster, and maybe it does help Fleck tie his mantra into the University a little bit.

I thought it was making fun of our season -- that we'll sink. Phew.
