Pretty much. MTSU is huge. They've had our number for years. Kind of like UAB in the early 00's. Couldn't beat them even when we should have.

I heard some Middle Tennessee fans say they aren't a very physical team. That was one reason Minny was up 28-0 at half. That will be one plus for us. Our guys play mean and nasty. UCLA fans even said they wished their team played with attitude like Memphis.

It will be a big game for a number of reasons:
* next game on schedule
* as mentioned earlier, more bandwagon fans jump back on board plus Blue Raider fans contingent will put attendance at 40,000 +
* opportunity for Memphis to show consistent effort and be 2-1 for first time since 2007 (I think)
* final game in this series so I anticipate MTSU to bring their best effort

Middle has broken in a new QB...should run more read option with a emphasis on the running game.
They lost 4 guys from their offensive line from last season...so they are short on experience on that side of the ball.
Defense may be their strength right now.
