The Big Ten keeps getting worse...
Penn State squeaks by Akron.

Wisconsin blows 2nd half lead against LSU last week and then nearly gets caught sleepwalking against Western Illinois today.

NIU and Northwestern in a tight one.

Iowa losing to a depleted Ball State (only beat N. Iowa by 1 TD last week)

Purdue gets blown out by CMU.

Nebraska needs a late 4th quarter miracle to beat McNeese St.

Illinois barely has enough to beat Youngstown State and Western Kentucky.

Ohio St. without Braxton Miller struggle against Navy.

Minnesota hasn't really been tested yet, but had a hard time with EIU early on.

Maryland, Rutgers, and Indiana... are Maryland, Rutgers, and Indiana.

I predict Michigan and Michigan State both lose by double digits tonight by Notre Dame and Oregon.

Wisconsin is legit. Should have beat LSU.

Hoping ND blows out scUM and MSU has a good showing at Oregon.

It was 9-3 midway through the 3rd quarter.

He's not officially a troll until he melts down and begs to be banned with his real name as his ID.

You forgot the part about Purdue struggling to beat our sad excuse for a football team.

I forgot I'm trying to argue with an MSU slappy. Sorry if I offended you. "Sparty On"

From the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison:
http://host.madison.com/sports/college/f...4e9aa.html

Quote:The boo-birds who made themselves heard in the first half Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium, but fell silent as Tanner McEvoy showed even the hard-to-please among the University of Wisconsin football fanbase that, yes, he can throw the football.

McEvoy overcame a slow start to complete 17 passes in a row at one point, throw for three touchdowns and run for another as No. 18 Wisconsin pulled away from second-tier Western Illinois to win its home opener 37-3 in front of 77,125 at Camp Randall.

"Two weeks in a row, we've had some substantial adversity hitting us right in the face," UW coach Gary Andersen said. "A lot of teams, this time of year, have faced zero adversity. We've faced it twice, in my opinion, and we've looked it right in the eye.

Big 14 may have won more than they lost today but they have been anything but impressive.

OSU and Urban Meyer can sure buy players but they can't buy a field goal.

Rutgers rolled powerhouse Howard by 7. Zips beat them 41-0 last week.

Pig 10 is rolling. Illinois with the most impressive win of the weekend? Beating WKU which was really not all that impressive.

U implying he look good roaming the sidelines at Waldo? We could go from the youngest coach in D1 to the heaviest coach in D1.

I don't think ND is this good. Someone actually scheduled some tough games for ND down the road. I think they will get exposed.
