Not really, everyone has their up and down years. A few years ago, we beat Texas Tech and SMU beat TCU.

Please stop with this statement stuff. SMU has the money and brand to turn their program around and win on a much more consistent basis than North Texas. June and the decsion to keep him this year are two huge mistakes for SMU and this league. When June is fired, SMU will hire a great coach and pay for that coach with the deep pockets that school has.

I fully expect SMU to beat NTSU. I suspect it will be very ugly at times, and not my most enjoyable couple of hours of the week. Cringe-worthy moments may abound.

SMU should be able to hire a good coach, hopefully they make a smart hire.

SMU will do the job easily. Baby Jesus told me it last night when I was praying to him at the white porcelain throne.

As of 3 months ago these 3 coaches were at the top of the search list. I have not asked in awhile.

I know those don't scream wow hires but we have had alot of time to do research. We are making sure to look at coaches with good assistants. Did you know that we don't have a special teams coach? Ours left and June didn't replace him.

I hear you and certainly agree with your statement. However, just two weeks ago you would have had a hard time finding anyone who would say Houston was going to have a "down year". The general consensus was they were a "top four team" in the American. The season is still early, and I hope they turn it around.

Looks like he is still here from the website. I'd rather not have a special teams coach at all

I've gotten to the point where I don't care if we win or lose. If we win, whoopty-doo it's a win. If we lose, we are one game closer to a new coach.
