Basically Sodexo took the blame and promised a much, much better experience next game. I didn't go into coaches club but my wife and friends wife did and they didn't come out raving about the food. I thought champions club was poorly presented and bare when I got there about 5.
The champions club(tent) closes at 5:30pm, and opened at 2:30pm.. did you really think they were going to restock the food 30 minutes before closing.
I thought the tent was much better than previous years, with tvs, optional cash bar in addition to the Bud Light and Blue Moon on tap, not to mention the Winery(didn't have any but heard it was good stuff). Also seemed to be enough tables where 50% of us didn't have to stand.
+1. I enjoyed the Champions Club tent. There are food opportunities everywhere in and around the stadium, including The Yard. If I was still hungry after the tent food, I would have stopped at one of the vendors and paid a few bucks for a decent sandwich/snack. The days of the free "meal" in the HAF tent are gone.

RE: How to Address a Problem
We eat with the player's families in Stevenson..So this year the plan is to eat when we first get there..walk over to the tent when it opens, then back to the lot about 30-45 minutes before the game starts.
I liked the tent this year better, food has never been great, but now since it will be from a different local place every time it will add variety.

You know who had a worse day than the Presbyterian football team? The NIU account manager at Sodexho.
Holy Huskie Jebus to specifically call out a vendor in a letter to you base means someone's head is on the line.

I agree. If people are donating to HAF so that they can get a free 5 meals a year to chow down on crappy hot dogs and chips...God help us.
Have some decent quality appetizers in there, with some drinks, and a good environment, that's all that needs to be there.
