RE: To Ramen Tiger: Lebo lands 3rd best player in the State of North Carolina
Hense why I said I think we can be "mid level" this year.
WTF is your problem man. You have some serious problems reading into my post if you think I am out saying we are going to win the league or are signing Lebron James's like you accusing me of.
I even said in a previous post we don't compare to Memphis or the level you are recruiting with your 16k seat full NBA arena and resources etc. There aren't but 10 or 20 schools that really even do most years. This year however I wouldn't completely walk around like you are invisible when you are bringing in last minute transfers from from the SWAC to plug holes.

Godfrey originally played at Iowa State but dismissed for violating team rules. He put up 18 &8 against Florida last year. Also Connecticut really wanted Godfrey. You guys shouldn't of tried to troll me because I am firing back.

I was thinking the same thing or we can pin a basketball recruiting thread to the top of the page like the mods did for the football recruiting thread. That way people don't have to be hot and bothered by people who just want to post in a conference recruiting thread.

He averaged like 13ppg and 8rpg in the SWAC. I didn't say he wasn't a solid late replacement. Heck he probably starts for you given his experience. I just think it says more about these players you've been signing lately that you were out last minute looking for a 5th year senior like that from the SWAC to plug holes with. That's they only reason you sign a 5th year guy. Obviously you have a lot of turnover and to replace and the task of meshing all these new players like this together now. I wouldn't pretend as if you are unbeatable right now either.

I understand the lay out fine. The bottom of the AAC was horrid last year, including Temple at #178 RPI, and most of those already bad teams lost significant players and appear be getting worse, not better this year unfortunately. Temple lost some significant players including a transfer big who was one of the most productive players in the AAC to Ohio State. UCF lost their two best players to NBA camps and were like a bad 220 RPI team even before that, USF was 230 and lost about everyone and have a new coach etc, etc. Houston was mediocre and lost their best players to the Big 12. At the top most of those teams have major player turnover as well other than SMU and Tulsa, but then Tulsa has a new coach.
I've studied what what every team returns and adds in this league and it looks like a down year for the league overall on paper. We actually return about as much experience as anyone and add one of the better immediate impact newcomers who started 19 games at Florida State to replace the best player we did lose as well as have one of the better freshman in the league coming in and a starting center who couldn't go last year. We won't win the league but we shouldn't be overwhelmed either the way we have been recruiting and the experience and newcomers we have and a lot of this league at the bottom just looks flat out bad right now. I certainly think we can be mid level.
I’m not going to argue with you, you win.
Congratulations ECU and all your fans on landing a top quality prospect.

Maybe because 2014 wasn't as loaded and we wouldn't be looking for one if Domonic Woodson would learn to control himself. Also you must not have recognized who we managed to sign. We got Vanderbilt Keedren Johnson to help with getting the younger guards acclimated to college basketball
