Stony Brook @ UConn GamePlan/ESPN3
MY LINE: UConn 45- 10 Had better not be close.

SMU @ UNT
MY LINE: UNT 37-20SMU starts 0-2

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa ABC/ESPN2
MY LINE: OU 45-20Tulsa showed a lot of heart last week but OU is too much.

Navy @ Temple ESPN3
MY LINE: Temple 27-24Temple looked better to me.

Maryland @ USF CBSSN
MY LINE: UMD 31-21No UMD lover but I am not sold on USF yet.

GT @ Tulane ESPNews/WatchESPN
MY LINE: Tulane 27-23 Home opener for Tulane and GT didn't look THAT good against Wofford to sell me on them taking Tulane at their own place.

ECU @ #9 South Carolina ESPNU/WatchESPN
MY LINE: So Car 45-42 Yeah, I believe we can upset So Car but there are too many questions out there about how these teams react from their results last week. If this was @ ECU I might would change my tune.

Grambling St @ Houston ESPN3
MY LINE: Houston 27-13Houston gets its act together

Memphis @ #7 UCLA PAC12Network
MY LINE: UCLA 35-20 Tigers aren't ready yet.

Well, after a rough week 1 of AAC football I hope everyone can rebound and take care of business this weekend.

We will not score that many points against South Carolina. I see it as more of a 34-27-type game, with more of the points coming in the second half.

**ALL GAMES 9/6**

Stony Brook @ UConn

Standard FBS over FCS pick. Let's hope they aren't as helpless in this game as they were against BYU

SMU @ UNT

Pretty confident about this one. UNT couldn't score until garbage time against Texas.

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa

Just make it respectable...

Navy @ Temple

Temple scored at will against Vanderbilt...

Maryland @ USF

Maryland won 52-7 against a slightly better FCS team...

GT @ Tulane

What Tulane showed me Thursday impressed. Or is it that Tulsa is just bad? I guess we'll see.

ECU @ #9 South Carolina

USCe looked lost against aTm. Just promise me you guys won't become insufferable pricks after the win.

Grambling St @ Houston

FBS over FCS... or the wheels have completely come off of a preseason favorite...

Memphis @ #7 UCLA

I would love a Memphis win, but the consensus is that UCLA is a playoff contender. Travelling to the west coast and lack of depth will turn a close game into a 2 possession finish.

Funny a UCF fan should say that...

Ironic you would say that. See how that works?

Stony Brook @ UConn Stony Brook lost to a team named Bryant last week. Huskies don't lose to this team 2 years in a row. W= UConn

SMU @ UNT I see this as a very close game. SMU by 3...Please!

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa Sorry Tulsa. I see blood shed in your future. Oklahoma by a lot.

Navy @ Temple Pull this one off Owls and I'll be convinced that you will compete for the AAC championship this year. Navy is always solid. Navy by 10.

Maryland @ USF USF just isn't quite ready yet after seeing last week. Maryland by 21.

Ga. Tech at Tulane. Wofford gave Ga. Tech some trouble last week. Ga. Tech offense is losing steam. Tulane loses in a close one.

ECU @ #9 South Carolina Pirates get behind early and make a raging comeback that just falls short. SC by 10.

Grambling St @ Houston Houston is embarrassed by last week and rolls Grambling. Houston by 30+

Memphis @ #7 UCLA They are some blemishes in UCLA's armor that Virginia exposed last week. Is Virgina improved or is UCLA ranked too high? UCLA by 17.

Could be a rough week.

I don't think UCONN played Stony Brook last year. I believe you're thinking of UCONN's loss to Towson, which IMO should've gotten Pasqualoni fired.

+1 UCLA did not look like a top ten team against a no bowl last year Virginia team, add that with a Memphis team spanked AP this week, albeit a FCS, and you got a close game.

Stony Brook @ UConn Stony Brook - UCONN 31 Stony Brook 7, UCONN looked bad, but not bad enough to lose this one.

SMU @ UNT - UNT 31 SMU 21, Can't get over the fact that SMU didn't put up at least 100 yards of offense.

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa - OU 41 TU 21, TU looked a lot better and I think will keep it close to half, but OU is just on another level.

Navy @ Temple - Temple 31 Navy 28, Temple looked really good, but than again so did Navy. Hope Temple pulls this one out.

Maryland @ USF - Maryland 42 USF 21, USF looked BAD, decent BIG10 opponent should run them over.

Ga. Tech at Tulane - Tulane 31 Ga. Tech 14, I Think Tulane will give them fits and win at home.

ECU @ #9 South Carolina - South Carolina 42 ECU 31, Sorry ECU just don't think you have enough to win on the road. If this was at home I think ECU would win, hope I am wrong though.

Grambling St @ Houston - Houston 31 Grambling St 3, Houston still struggles on offense, but beats Grambling easily.

Memphis @ #7 UCLA - UCLA 41 Memphis 14, UCLA won't be happy after last weeks performance, wish I could call upset, but don't see it happening.

Thanks. My bad. It was Towson. Stony Brook did pull off a FBS upset in recent years.

ha ha! I lookd it up. Stony Brook has not beaten anyone good lately. They are only good at baseball. Carry on. Go Huskies!!!

So we score 17 against a less athletic, smaller, slower D in Navy after scoring 30 on Vandy? Obviously, if we commit turnovers, sure, but if our offense looks remotely competent, there's no way we should score only 2 TDs on Navy.

I dont think we'll run a vanilla offense against Navy.

The problem with Navy is that if you can't stop their running game. You won't have much time for your offense and as time goes by your defense wears out.

Dude, i would like to see Temple win, but lets slow down a little bit. Temple isn't some sort of unstoppable opponent for Navy. Temple had the entire summer to prepare for Bandy, lets see how they handle a tricky offense to defend on a normal game week. Good luck, but i think Navy enda up doing what Navy tends to do to teams... wear down the defense and hold onto the ball.

Stony Brook @ UConn ; uconn wins but will be alot closer than expect

SMU @ UNT; Davis uses this game to take the lead in the qb competition and uses his athleticsm/speed against a less athletic UNT

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa; i hope tulsa makes a game out of this

Navy @ Temple ; another great matchup for temple as they play another team that doesnt pass and plays into their strength and cant exploit their weakness

Maryland @ USF; what will marlon do vs better Dlines, we are all going to find out

GT @ Tulane; Lee makes big statement win in stadium opening

ECU @ #9 South Carolina; Ecu fans get even cockier after this week

Grambling St @ Houston; we thought last week was just the preseason

Memphis @ #7 UCLA; this game will be unrealistically close mixed with last weeks game could very well knock hundly out of the Heisman conversation

I never said we're unstoppable, but like I said, we play Army and Navy frequently. It's nothing we're not used to preparing for. It's our 7th game against Army or Navy since 2009.

No, your favored in this one. Unlike last week, when you said about 100 times that you guaranteed UCONN victory over BYU, when you were 18 point underdogs (and weren't close to covering.) Then you ridiculed anyone who pointed out the obvious for "not knowing anything about Huskies football."

Good luck.
