Excuse me but, what does Living in Temple Terrace have to do with this thread. You've got serious issues. Seek help immediately.
You have to try and bash USF by any means necessary. My guess is that;
1, You were refused entry to USF.
2, Your sister was dumped by a USF student.
3, You found out that your high school crush is dating a USF student.
4, All of the above.
So which is it?

They all have something in common. Hate for anything USF related.
Very sad and acute case.

RE: Marlon Mack AAC rushing game record
It's funny how they worked up these two are getting over Mack.
Did Mack have a great debut for a true freshman?
Yes.
Does his raw skills ooze potential in terms of speed, agility, shiftiness and ability to break tackles?
Yes.
Did he play the best competition?
No.
Do USF fans have a reason to be excited?
No, according to these two clowns. I don't recall anyone saying anything else other than the kid has talent and give USF fans reason to be excited.
Unfortunately that seems to bother some folks and they would rather give the backhanded compliment than while at the same time expecting everyone to bow down at the alter of UCF b/c they had another moral victory...or game they gave away...loss...against a mediocre PennState team.
Uh oh....did you see what I just did? I must be reading too many of Gink &Stinks posts b/c I just figured out how to play the backhanded compliment game. Nothing good can happen now that everyone on the board figured out their clever little trick....look out! Let's see if this how it works....."Not to rain on your parade, BUTZ they just lost/gave away a game against mediocre at best PSU team reeling from an ugly NCAA child sex scandal, three years probation, two coaching turnover in less than 4 years and wholesale roster turnover so it's not like they were playing a vintage JoPa team."
LOL....

The guy has some serious mental defects. He posts on every single USF thread. I don't even post on every USF thread and I'm a USF fan. I don't post on most of the UCF threads because quite frankly, I no longer care for that school.
I used to hope that USF and UCF would be in the same conference and division where ever we went. But now, I could care less. I no longer wish to be in a conference with them as I no longer wish to associate with their fans. Just too many whack-a-doodles.

Don't judge them all for a few ones that are so insecure that they must jump into any USF thread and try to bash it. There are some good ones .

RE: Marlon Mack AAC rushing game record
Holy bejesus. Chill out guys.
Marlon Mack did not play against the best competition. That has been established and is not really arguable. We should not read too much into it.
However, the kid showed good speed and awareness in his first college outing. From the highlights, the thing that stood out most to me was his shiftiness. Good footwork and able to move around the defense easily. Whether his skill translates to tougher opponents remains to be seen, but a good first outing for a freshman nonetheless. I'm sure we'll be able to measure the extent of his talent once he faces the defenses of the AAC

Thank you, MedKnight. That's all I'm saying. Funny how bringing up "don't read too much into it" turned into "troll hates USF and bashes kid."

Please beat NCSU this year. We dont have our chance to this year but I would love to see a fellow conference mate take them out. Brissett for them is their football savior or something. Maryland would be a good win against the big 10.

On local sports radio this morning, NC State homer Mark Thomas said that USF was not as good as Georgia Southern... I'd love for the Bulls to prove otherwise.

A lot will depend on how fast our new players learn to play together on defense and the team picks up the 3-4 system in this first game they seemed lost at times
On offense the oline needs to do a better job pass blocking and our QB needs to be more consistent from the start. Can't afford another three quarters like the first game
So lots of questions left to answer. I'm sure Maryland will stack the line and force us to pass early

RE: Marlon Mack AAC rushing game record
Sure, it wasn't against the 49'ers, but it was still a good game. If anyone acted like it's a significant 'record', that would be sort of silly, but it was an impressive game and made moreso by the fact he's a freshman. It wasn't a great week for either of us, we're focusing on the positives of Holman, can't begrudge USF the right to focus on their own positives.
Besides, I want them riding high before we bring them down.
