I am super super happy to say, it now looks like the NU game will not be oppressive in terms of heat. A cold front should be a little faster than previous indications and reach northeast Illinois some time Friday night or early Saturday! Could be some rain to contend with (especially Friday night-early Saturday) but so happy that the high heat/humidity is looking very much like a non-factor now. In fact, if these trends hold, you could have a northeasterly post frontal wind off the lake, maybe holding things in the mid 70s!

Perhaps but there does seem to be a trend to this idea which has a lot of support in a lot of data. This makes me very happy as I nearly passed out at the last NU game.

we survived Iowa last year, we can survive whatever weather is thrown at us at NW
