We are a year removed from losing seven C-USA games by a combined score of 314-91.

We weren't keeping a potential Top 25 SEC team close.

We won't know if there is any improvement or not until after the Appy State game in a few weeks. Well...if we lose to Alcorn, we'll know there is definitely NOT improvement.

Im sure we will get the absolute best shot alcorn can give. After all their hc was our dc and was the reason Bower was let go.
Tonight was no indication but i think you will see improvement before the year is out. I saw improvement at times on the defense. I am waiting to see how the ol looks against a non p5 school.

Things will be back to normal down the road. We have the best leadership we have ever had in my opinion. The RGC will be transformed from a yurt to a showpiece in the near future (ive seen the drawings).

Its time for everyone to make a decision. Put up or shut up. Buy season tickets, give to the EC and other booster groups or stop bitching all together. If your not a shareholder as a former ad said, you have no business or right to express your opinion.

Where are those arena plans anyway? McGillis said they would be done by 07/31/2014. I was told that I would have to "eat crow" when I saw how awesome they were.

At this point, I'm not settling for "some dude on a message board said he saw them". If we actually meant business, we'd have funded plans on the table for bulldozing RGC and expanding MM Roberts to 40,000+ (like we should have done 15 years ago), we'd have Monken on the hot seat, and we'd be talking about the AAC. Anything less is chicken ****.

As for being a shareholder, McGillis isn't one. His diploma doesn't say USM. And I've made promises here to pay $1,000 or $10,000 (can't remember) toward the expansion of our football stadium, or toward getting out of CUSA, if a fund is started for either of those purposes. If I'd reneged on that, I wouldn't be here posting. But I didn't renege on it. Our AD is just too big a ***** to ask for money and he's (like his predecessor) afraid of life without CUSA and its mediocre, dance-card-filling shills.

Well if he isnt a shareholder then you have alot in common. There are more than one dude on message boards that have seen the drawings. Sorry Bill doesnt work in knee jerk reactions. He is methodical and has everything laid out. He is now working on funding.
In fact there is another board where messages from Bill are posted on a regular basis. You should check them out. You might see just how wrong you are.

The dude told the Sun-Herald that he'd have a completed proposal by the end of July. I don't care if he's been showing **** to people here and there. He needs to be out in the public sphere with a frickin' scale model and his hand extended to accept checks, or he needs to STFU.

My honest opinion? The dude was told he could spend $19,999,999.99 per year when he was hired, and not a cent more, and he's going to do that until he's able to parlay it into a job at a P5 school. Dr. Bennett's working within similar guidelines. They're still better than Airman Basic Hammond, Aunt Bea, Shelby Thames, etc., but don't kid yourself- these people have zero ambition for USM other than getting the hell out.
