3rd string QB. 2 true freshman RB's that, IMHO, should have been redshirted when we didn't even play Nutall (a Jr RB). Gay was hurt so he wasn't going to see the field anyway. Had to be 3rd string D in there too. Names I knew weren't on the 2 deep and I had no clue who they were...ie: some walk ons.

We blew them out last year and learned nothing from the game. Absolutely nothing.

Yeah it's one of those feel good wins but gives no idea how will play after this. Makes me feel like they are world beaters but you never know.

Although the last time we blew out a lower division or subdivision team was Panhandle St in 2005 when the Bobcats made it one play away from making the national championship.

The good thing about this game is that we got to get our backup (and third string QB) in some gametime experience. Maybe not FBS quality gametime experience, but it's gametime experience in this offense.

Also got out of the game without any significant injuries (I believe Targun was alright post game).

Rev, Trey Garrett (#7 S) got hurt in the 1st Qtr, looked pretty bad. Was on the sideline in an air splint, looks like a knee injury. Jack Rhoades was in a sling in 4 th qtr.

. . . and that may well be the case for us, but for now we'll enjoy this W. It kinda takes the bad taste out of our mouths over the way last season ended. We'll have a better idea as to our identity in a couple of weeks after we play Navy ... .

Half of our team rushed for over 100 yards against them.

Their coach was talking crap because some of the 9 guys suspended when you guys played them were back with the team against Texas State.

I truly wanted to go by the tunnel where their team went in to the locker room and give that coach a load of crap about his statement (saying Texas State should be I-AA).
