I agree. So much hinges on this game. I'm nervous for tomorrow, but it should be an exciting game!

Anybody know if the game is on DirecTV ESPN Gameplan? Couldn't find it in the listings, which is unfortunate if that's the case. We get Mercyhurst at Westchester, The Incarnate Word at North Dakota State and Slippery Rock at East Stroudsburg, but no WMU at Idaho?!?

Game is broadcast on ESPN3 over the internet.

No we aren't. We're pretty balanced and will run first if that's our best chance. The fact that the redshirt freshman QB played so well last week with defenders in his face all game bodes well for our passing game in general. But it doesn't mean we will emulate a June Jones offense. Our starting RB ran for 5.3 ypg last week, and ULM has a very aggressive defense.

It'll be interesting to see how we do against your secondary and the man defense you often play. I'm guessing we'll try to run on you first and run a lot of crossing routes when passing.

Especially with a healthy Celiscar and Currie, the DBs should continue to be the dominant force on our defense. We NEED NEED NEED to get some pressure on the QB though. 7 sacks in the last 13 games is completely unacceptable. I am not a believer in our undersized D-line until they show me something different.

On the flip side our WRs could potentially torch a struggling Idaho secondary. If Terrell starts out fast, we could put up big points very quickly. That's a big "IF" though considering the way he started against Purdue.

Our secondary is the weakest link of the team, but last game we did a great job of getting pressure to the QB with our front seven. We will have to pressure to help the secondary by getting the ball out of your QB's hand sooner. JC safety Chris Edwards had one interception and had another slip through his hands, which turned into a TD for ULM, in the first half. He is an obvious upgrade for us.

Our starting DL is probably our strength. The DT is very disrupting and both ends provide solid attributes. Strong end Maxx Forde #40 is 6' 5" 270lb and does everything right. Rush end Quinton Bradley #43 250lb is very fast and you'll have to account for him on passing situations. He has a lot of potential, just needs to reach for it.

I think the story of the game will be how their bad run game matches up with our bad run defense. Whichever team wins that battle will win the game.

We'll have to stop your run game, and we weren't great fitting the run last game. Your true freshman rb is a stud!

I looked at the stats from your game at ULM and saw 324 passing yds and 118 rushing yards, so I assumed (and still do) that the pass game is your strong point. That being said, our run defense is atrocious so we could very well see a balanced if not run-first approach tomorrow from the Vandals. I see that your RB did get 22 touches last game. Wouldn't be surprised if he got more this time.

Btw for anyone wondering, the Vegas lines for this game are at about 2.5 to 3 with Idaho as the favorite. Which means that Vegas seems to think these 2 teams are even on a neutral field. I'm inclined to agree. Can't wait for tomorrow...I think it's going to be a great game!

I don't disagree with your first point Liam. We (including me) jumped to a lot of conclusions based on our competitive loss to Purdue where we came away with some positive feelings. Followed by our arch rival dominating that same Purdue team.

I said it after our first game. I really don't know what I think either of those teams are. Is WMU improved and competing with a Big 10 team? Is Purdue terrible and beat an even worse WMU team? So we said, lets see how CMU fairs. And then the Chips went ahead and thumped Purdue. So the instant feeling is, Holy Crap, CMU is a whole lot better than WMU.

I heard someone say that you cant take the Team A vs Team B and Team A vs Team C, to decide what will happen between Team B vs Team C. But I think we were talking more of if Purdue were to have thumped CMU, what could we have read into that based on our performance?

Bottom line, based on common opponent on the same field in back to back weeks. CMU looks a whole lot better than WMU right now. And I think our enthusiasm for the week 1 positives is tempered by the fact that we lost and merely competed with an obviously bad Purdue team.

As bad BIG Ten teams go this Purdue team might be one of the worst ever. Even worse than some of the really bad Indiana teams. I thought Central man handled them. We on the other hand were hanging on for dear life. I too came away deflated, because I don't think CMU is a top tier MAC team.

If you like watching MAC games, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Apple TV. It will cost about a 100 bucks. Plug it into your TV, and you can mirror your Ipad on the television screen, or you can go through the WiFi and do ESPN3, Y Tubes, Hulu, Netflix and several other streaming services. You can also use it for Itunes and different photo storage services. I have a Smart TV that will do the same thing, but the Apple TV seems to work better, and the controller is way better. It's worth the $100.

You can get them online, but if you wanted it for tomorrows game Best Buy carries them.

Lots of assumptions. Maybe CMU is a top level MAC team. BGSU doesn't seem like on and Toledo sure doesn't but I'd have thought they were in the upper third of the conference in the preseason. I guess we kick this stuff around because we have a bye the 2nd week of the year and not much else to go on.

Agree, Purdue was just bad. In both games. They couldn't execute on either side of the ball.

I'll one-up that. Ditch your rotten apple.

Get a computer with HDMI to plug into your TV. That's all you'll need.

Get XMBC -- an open source program for All platforms (yes, even MAC and Windows; I'm a Linux guy)...

... and you can watch any popular TV Show that aired hours prior. And movies about to be on DVD days/weeks before released. Blows "nextflix" out of the water. OK... but what about college football??

Get the login & pass to any friend's cable -- add the ESPN3 app to it -- and plug it in, and watch all of those.

But what about the B10 Channel? Yep. Get the NAVI-X add-on/plug-in -- do a search for B10 -- and watch the B10 channel on the go streaming in HD. Even without ESPN3 quickie access via a friend, you can watch many games that way, too outside the B10 channels (and you can get a feed of ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU).

Plus of course, there's other "exciting" things one can get as well that's "outside sports". Hey, just sayin'.

No need for a mainstream-box. Get it all. On one's laptop or one of the $200-$250 pocket computers to plug into your tv that's the size of a football that you can also do everything with -- Get XBMC.

I was really looking forward to hooking up my laptop to the TV and watching the game from the warmth and comfort of my couch. Unfortunately my son was supposed to race at Berlin last night, when the program was cancelled due to rain. His race has now been added to tonight's program. I'll watch what I can on my Samsung Galaxy (ESPN app) while sitting in the pits (most likely shivering from the weather, but hopefully not Western's performance).
