So after one week the AAC is awful but yet it's hard to measure cusa after the same time frame. You are so full of logic!

I probably should have framed in a clearer manner. The AAC teams were dominated in their losses in a manner that eliminated doubt. Some of the CUSA teams which won still need to be tested.

The G-5 conference records vs. each other do speak volumes. In fact, the AAC only has 1 win over an FBS team (that's not an AAC team). It's a fair assessment to say it's awful.

UCF and Tulane were not dominated...Cincy hasn't played yet.

Fair point regarding UCF, as they have a solid program built.

Tulane played another AAC team.

Fair assessment? It's apples to oranges after one week. A Houston fan was trying to say that UTSA was better than Penn St. because their offensive and defensive rankings were better than theirs. It doesn't work like that.

Temple crushed Vandy. UCF lost by 2. Houston played like crap. Fire June. It's UCONN. USF was played close by a FCS team.

UTSA whoops Houston. WKU whooped Bowling Green. UAB whoops Troy. FAU is blown out. Marshall almost blew it. ODU was played close by a FCS team. Rice is blown out by an overrated Notre Dame. La Tech blown out by Okie. FIU loses to an FCS team. USM shut out 49-0. UNT blown out by Texas. UTEP squeaks by UNM.

Y'all are too busy looking at UTSA, WKU, UAB to realize how poorly most of the conference preformed. Were to busy concentrating on Houston, USF, SMU to realize we didn't play that bad as a whole

Quite the opposite:

AAC
.500 (4-4) Overall
.000 (0-1) vs Top 25
.333 (1-2) vs P5
.000 (0-2) vs G5
1.000 (3-0) vs FCS

CUSA
.538 (7-6) Overall
.000 (0-3) vs Top 25
.000 (0-5) vs P5
1.000 (5-0) vs G5
.667 (2-1) vs FCS

MAC
.636 (7-4) Overall
.000 (0-0) vs Top 25
.000 (0-2) vs P5
.000 (0-2) vs G5
1.000 (7-0) vs FCS

MWC
.500 (6-6) Overall
.000 (0-3) vs Top 25
.167 (1-5) vs P5
.000 (0-1) vs G5
1.000 (5-0) vs FCS

SBC
.667 (6-3) Overall
.000 (0-0) vs Top 25
.333 (1-2) vs P5
.000 (0-1) vs G5
1.000 (5-0) vs FCS

The AAC did suck this weekend and the MWC wasn't much better granted both conference along with the Sun Belt managed wins against a P-5 program. Marshall won on the road, UTSA won on the road, WKU and UAB were impressive.

CUSA wasn't great but Week 1 performance wise was better than the other G-5 conferences as you can tell from above.

Well, if the aac continues to play "not as bad as a whole" the Cusa champion will be in the access bowl.

If you think that Miami (OH) is not going to win a game THIS year, then you are smoking some serious CRACK...

That was a totally different team than last year... Any 15 point win on the road in the first game of the season is a good one. UUUUUUUUUGLY, but a good win...

IMHO, I think the RedHawks will surprise some teams this year...

Thing is your basing all this off the idea Marshall is good, we don't know if they are or not yet.

CUSA:
Houston was your best win. (Temple)
BGSU (Nobody)
UNM, Troy, and Miami (OH) (ECU, Memphis)

AAC
We get blown out by a top 10 team ( Rice, La Tech, UNT). UCONN looked like our worst team, but still wasn't completely blown out of the water by BYU. Bad loss for Houston (FIU) Stomped a team that was expected to win.(UTSA) Nailbiter against a top 50 P5 team (nobody) Fluff wins (MTSU, UTEP, UAB, Marshall)

Pretty equal when you put things in perspective.

We would have as many wins as CUSA had if we had the same lineup.

WKU and UTSA were the only quality wins against G5 teams the rest were fluff. Marshall beat a winless team last year, woohoo!

If you want to downplay CUSA wins then that is your perrogative. Doesn't change the fact CUSA was better than the other G-5 conferences the first weekend of college football.

We would have as many wins as CUSA had if we had the same lineup.

wtf? Penn State a top 50 team??? 03-lmfao Aren't they on probation and only have like 50 scholarships?

Houston is going to cruise through the aac and win that conference
