End the season now! Lol.....What I like about Brandon is he has over come a lot (injuries, horrible stretch last season) and has a gained experience and maturity....

Loved on Twitter where he basically called out for everyone to stop mentioning him and his performance this past Friday, he was focused on Illinois only....This is the way to approach it after last season in which we laid an egg 2 straight weeks after beating UK and Doughty really struggled....Looks like at least on the mental side of things he has learned that lesson from last season..Crossing my fingers the team learned this from last season also....

How high does the statue for Week One Heisman stand?

Those 5 plays almost had me convinced we threw the game.

What was it? 6 turnovers on 7 plays? That was a brutal game.

But we destroyed BGSU and they're better than UK was last year.

I have some hope.

Impressive

Brandon Doughty gets a bad rap from our fans...if you read some of the things put on him you would think he had a horrible season last year and nothing could be farther from the truth. He had 2 bad games early in the season (2&3) when the WHOLE team was learning a new system.

Brandon had 5 INTs vs Tenn with 2 of those hit the receiver square in the chest and popped up in the air. Another was a timing route and the receiver broke long when it was a down and out. Two where just bad throws.

He had 3 ints the next game one on another badly ran route one really bad throw and one on 4th and 12 in the last minute of the game on a throw into the endzone for the win...we loss

other than that Brandon had 6 INTs in the other 10 games and a couple of those were good throws that popped out of a receivers hands...one of those was actually TOOK right out of the receivers hands as he was tucking it in vs UL-L also in that UL-L game. BD had a int on 4th and goal at the 6 inch line. A terrible call by our coach. I don't know about other teams but our coaching staff (I'm sure its the same every where) tells our QB....DON'T EAT THE BALL on 4th down. At least get it in the air where there's a chance at a play.

Outside of 2 games Brandon Doughty had a really good season and lets put this in perspective what is supposedly the best QB in the conference, Rakeem Cato, had 7 ints over their last 10 season games...1 more than Brandon over the same amount of games.

Brandon Doughty completed 65.8% of his passes and in no game was he under 50% not even while throwing 5 ints vs Tenn . Going by last years totals for 12 games and using Fridays att x 2013 avg of 7.6 Doughty would have completed 37 passes for 425 yards...

There's a reason I said Western would be the second best offensive in the conference and Brandon Doughty along with the addition of 3 or 4 faster receivers is that reason...

So while I don't foresee a lot of 500 yard games...Brandon Doughty is no one hit wonder either so I wouldn't be shocked to see something close to that.
