Still pathetic for a championship caliber team. They aren't coming off a 1-10 season.

The problem is NIU is too far out from Chicago Metro to feed off the city. I Know a lot of NIU kids in Chicago and if Dekalb was closer might be easier to get people in seats- especially a Thursday night.

Thursday night at 6 pm against the powerhouse Presbyterian College, with rain in the forecast and possibly thunderstorms. And it had started sprinkling before the game started so that probably hurt the walkup crowd. Not much incentive to go watch that. Still a disappointing turnout but I'm not that surprised.

This is left over Jeff Compher(the past AD at NIU) piss poor scheduling. Serously, Presbyterian College on a Thursday night? That is pitiful for him to even schedule that game. The NIU fans deserve better and they finally have it with their new AD.
