I used to work for a Bowling Green, Ky based company that was located on Pedigo Way. It was run by a guy named Johnny Webb. I think he became the mayor of BG for a while.
He was a WKU grad and big WKU Booster.

Anyone know if he is still around?

Also worked with a guy named Stan Young.

Yes he is. I think he still lives local and is part our operation pride for our community

Thats cool. Last time I was there he had just built a nice big house outside of BG that was close to a small lake.

river green is a gated community for big ballers (bowling green level...it's relative).

he's originally from edmonson county which at one time led the commonwealth in ssi payouts per capita. generations of 'drawers' up there. ability to fake a disability and live in a trailer is passed down by family elders.

rumor was johnny was involved in 'cattle-rustling' as a young guy. i have no idea if that's true or not. just something you hear.

he was a big name for awhile but has kinda dropped back in the shadows.

Yep, I worked for Southern as a rep. for 10 years. Really enjoyed the people there. Johnny got his start as a rep. for 3M and started Southern out of his garage. His wife and daughter are very nice people. I wouldn't doubt that Johnny has taken some liberties in his business dealings.
