Game Time & Tailgating Time!
Well folks, the 2014 Football season is upon us! I'm sure all the fans of every Sun Belt team are just as excited about the start of the season as we Cajun fans are.

However, along with the actual football games, this is also the start of the 2014 tailgating season! Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to any fans of Southern University, LA Tech, Georgia State, Arkansas State, South Alabama, ULM and Appalachian State that may travel to Lafayette, LA for the game between your team and the Cajuns to come by and party or just visit with us at the Krewe de Chew's tailgating spot(s). I guarantee you it will be a one of a kind experience that you have never seen anywhere else! HaHaHa!

We are sort of famous for out "Roosta" dance. The "Roosta" dance is a "crazy", somewhat "stupid", little dance that we do twice a day (we had to put a limit on the number of times since visitors kept wanting to participate) on game days that has just evolved over a number of years. It revolves around a Cajun/Zydeco song titled "You Can't Rooster Like You Used To". Since some of us are getting a little long in the tooth, it sort of applies.

Below is a link to our website where you learn more about our little group:
http://www.krewedechew.net/

If you choose to visit our web site, you can find where we are located at Cajun Field, view our game day menu's, take a look at a few video's & photographs along with getting a few answers to some possible questions. There may be a few posters on this message board that have visited with us in the past. I think most of them would confirm that we like to have a good time!

I realize that we all like to talk a little trash on these message boards, but in reality, we are really very friendly people when we get together in person! The Krewe de Chew hopes to see some of you when your team comes to Lafayette! Please come find us.

Good luck to all SBC teams during the upcoming season (except when you come to Lafayette or we go to your house)!!! HaHaHa.
