new AmericanRx blog
I'm testing the waters to see how much interest there is (or isn't).

Here's the link: http://americanrx.blogspot.com/

If you want to contribute an article, you can sign up through your gmail account or, if you prefer to submit anonymously, you can email it to me through CSNBBS.com.

I hope you guys enjoy the new blog!

RE: any interest in an AmericanRx blog?
Nice site - I'll check it out regularly.

My "prescription" for the AAC is not to have teams leave for other conferences, but to raise the image of the conference to a point where they will be the 6th power conference. I like the teams in the AAC and, I think, there will be great games played here.

If you look at conference success last year, the two that stand out are the ACC and AAC - championships in men's basketball, women's basketball, football, lacrosse and, I may have missed some. The other "Power" 5 conferences did not perform to the same standard - although you wouldn't know it by listening to them.

The AAC must continue to improve their programs and win, especially in OOC and bowl games - and not just in football, but all olympic sports. Developing rivalries and creating an exciting (and entertaining) game experience will increase fan and TV support - resulting in a better TV deal.

"Power" conferences may be defined by dollars, but I prefer to define "power" by winning. The SEC, B1G, Big12 and Pac12 are rich in dollars, but lacking in championships.

RE: any interest in an AmericanRx blog?
OK, so here's what I've done: I'm setting it up to post daily (for the first week at least) at 10:00 AM ET. Today's Post: Health of AAC Football 2014-15.

I've lined up articles for Wednesday and Thursday already. Beyond that we'll play it by ear.

Please use UCF instead of C. Florida. The school fought for years to get the media to use the UCF brand.

...and don't ever use E. Carolina again. It's either "East Carolina" or ECU.

We've wasted a lot of money trying to get people to stop calling us "eastern carolina" and apparently having it listed as E. Carolina encourages that or something. Don't stress over it too much.

The only thing that really matters here is Eastern NC BBQ.

Continue doing S. Florida for South Florida though, they love it.

It's on the NC State @ USF game. No repeat logos. UCF @ Mizzou should be good, though.

Not trying to be difficult but you have the best game as ucf vs mizzou and the best shot usf vs UNC? I thought we were picking the best game?

Best (most entertaining) game = UCF @ Mizzou
Best shot (at the upset) = NC State @ USF
Reason: NC State is not nearly as good as Mizzou and the game is at USF, too.
