Best time I have ever had at a football game. Period. Never been to a game with more energy or excitement.
Its sad but there isn't even one team left in cbelt that generates any interest at all in our fan base. Thankfully there is a light at the end of this tunnel, will be nice to sit in those crowds of up to 35,000 again but patience is a virtue.
What's sad is to read a USM fan post this crap when it's not close to the truth. If you're not interested in playing a team that whipped our A$$ last year I don't know what to tell you.

Well, you enlightened one, please tell us which of the teams coming to the Rock this year will generate the interest and draw a crowd of over 30,000 like the TCU game and have national implications. Whether or not a team whipped our A$$ last year has ABSOLUTELY no bearing on the USM fan base which is demoralized and frankly cant care less until we are able to divorce ourselves from this group of wannabees.

I'm guessing Louisiana Tech is not the right answer?

Why don't you enlighten me on when the USM fan base appointed you our spokesman.

I don't recall any post on which I said the USM fan base had appointed me as their spokesman. My comments are summaries of discussions with USM fans up and down the spectrum, those just simply on the street, those who give only limited amounts, those who give a lot, members and even office holders in booster groups, season ticket holders, etc. You must be hiding away in a hole somewhere.

You must talk to an awful lot of people, I'm impressed. By the way go back and look at what put in bold from your post. What are you implying there?

Yes, I do talk to a lot of people and glad you are impressed. My job involves a lot of travel enabling a lot of personal contact in addition to the usual electronics. I do apologize though for apparently misleading you on the statement which you put in bold. It should have said something like "I conclude, from my many contacts, the USM fan base is completely demoralized and couldn't care less anymore until we have divorced ourselves from this group of wannabees".
