This says it all but it looks like fears may be taking a step closer to reality. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uh5swCCunO8

No we have a hurricane next week. Only mildly joking. Too many people have paid for travel plans. They will play the game

RE: Ireland game
"There is a contingency plan" is all we know. I think it would be logistically very, very difficult to play the game anywhere else next weekend. The SWAC-MEAC Challenge is being held at Bright House stadium next Sunday morning at 11am because of the Citrus Bowl renovations. I don't know how feasible it would be to play two games in two days, not to mention the beating the field would take. They can always throw the stadium open to general admission to make ticketing easier, but other things like ordering concessions, hiring the event staff, security, etc. would make it very difficult in such a short turnaround. Not to mention the team equipment is already in Dublin (or at least on it's way). Of course Penn State would have to make last second hotel, meal, and bus accommodations, although finding a hotel in Orlando isn't an issue. Then there's the issue of TV. I'm sure ESPN already has games scheduled for all of it's time slots next Saturday, and I highly doubt anyone would want to play (or attend) a game at 8:30 AM. But, the ESPN crew will already be there to air the Sunday game, so if they got there a day early, maybe it could be done if a time slot could be found. At worst it could be an ESPN3 broadcast. It would almost certainly have to be an early game to give the grounds crew and others time to turn around the stadium for Sunday.

I just don't see all of that happening in a such a short time. I think it's more likely the game just gets cancelled, unless the NCAA grans a waiver to play game Dec. 13.

While I would very much welcome even a hastily put-together game at home with PSU, UCF would stand to lose a lot of money if this game isn't played in Dublin. I'm sure the odds are very good that nothing will happen, but it's just crazy that we even have to think about such a possibility.
