Also got some info from C-USA. AmericanSportsNet.com will be where the games will be shown online, but it does not look like the site will be ready this week. As others have mentioned, ConferenceUSA.com is expected to host this week's telecasts if it isn't ready.

As for affiliate lists, was told they will be on the conference website & posted on social media accounts on Wednesdays. Thursdays at the latest.

Will these be free broadcasts online on either site? I know CUSA previously charged for watching these (as if I am going to pay for mid majors games when P5 games are on for free.. come on...)

I did not ask so I do not know. Hope to get some clarity on that mid-week. I suspect by that point it will be known what state of functionality the ASN website is in.

The sister station is not a MyTV channel but RTV (retro TV) that plays old reruns but they do broadcast all the Liberty home games (the station is actually out of Lynchburg, VA). I'm not sure if they're playing ASN games but I sent a message to find out.

So I got a reply from WSET (ABC) in Lynchburg, VA. They said they would be playing some of the ASN games on RTV 13.2 this fall including the ODU game this Sat. COGS but the rest of the schedule was still in progress. I had emphasized ODU games in my e-mail and he said ODU vs. UTEP on 10/11 and ODU vs. FAU on 11/29 were tentatively on the schedule.

It'll be interesting to see how many other C-USA games they'll show.

I checked on my Direct TV and we get Channel 43 My TV which is a Sinclair station. According to my Guide, both ODU and FIU's games will be on.

Older DirecTV DVRs (much older, like 5-6 years ago) used to have integrated digital tuners in them. Since then, I think DirecTV removed the digital tuners and for a while made a separate digital tuner box called the AM21 to integrate into a receiver, but I don't know if they make it anymore.

Then I would suggest everyone switch to Dish (I have $50 off first bill codes!) as you can add a dongle to the hopple to plug an antenna right into and get those channels intergrated! Plus it adds an extra tuner for DVR purposes

Disappointing that the Charlotte affiliate didn't pick this game up.

They didn't even send crews 2.5 hours away to do our game at Campbell. I'm not surprised they didn't pick it up.

It would take MUCH less effort to pick this national broadcast up than it would to produce a road game for us. Not to mention the cost. The Triangle and the Triad affiliates are even picking this game up.

Thats an impressive list. 2 Regional Sports Networks, Cable, and OTA from Washington, Oregon, California to Texas, Florida, and up to New England.

Nice work. This is a great TV deal.

This is on in nearly every Sinclair market and Sinclair has reach to 40% of all households. Add in NESN to cover New England and Cox Sports Network and I'd venture to guess your covering around 50 million households roughly the same as CBS Sports Network.

Looks as if the C-USA games will be on down in Destin / Panama City Beach area, for those that go on Fall Break with the kids.

Good news for me.

I just emailed Sinclair asking if they planned to air ASN games not involving Marshall on WCHS/WVAH or their digital subchannels and got a reply that "Ultimately the answer is yes. However, at the current time we do not yet have the capacity to do so on our Digital Sub Channel, but this is the ultimate intention."

1) WCCB is CW but is not part of Sinclair. So though they could have probably picked it up there's no real need to.
2) Outside of Charlotte being in the same conference as ODU, what would WCCB's motivation be to broadcast a game that has no real local interest?

its not just OTA in DC. I can pick up that channel on Comcast. I wasn't expecting to anything but an internet stream on Saturday, so I'm pretty happy.

Also of note on the ODU game is that NESN was picking up the broadcast - which, assuming that it's not blacked out - would make it available on the DirecTV sports pack.

Will these be online for free for those that cant get them? I dont think Sinclair has reached Cleveland Ohio yet. Ridiculous as they are in Cincy, Cbus and Toledo...

Online via subscription only. ODU game will be on ODUsports.com since AmericanSportsNet.com is not ready.
