I'll guess their will be at least a home and Home between KSU and UNC-Charolotte while they are in transition.

We are FBS next year. 0 chance we do a home and home with them.

FYI, that 2015 game against us has a pretty good chance of going away. We still haven't officially announced that we're playing UK next year, but it is definitely happening. I've heard it will be the opening week. If it is, the Georgia State game will get bumped unless you guys can work another date.

If it turns out not to be the first week of the season then the game will still be on.

USA to Ladd Peebles 7 miles

UTSA to Alamodome 17 miles

UTSA is the only one remotely similar and in that case both the school and the stadium are in the same city and San Antonio definitely has far more UTSA alums than Atlanta does KSU alums.

At some point you have to realize it's just not there, you're talking about the Sun Belt helping them in their transition and them playing in a dramatically too large stadium they may not be able to afford rent in that, oh by the way, has 24 miles of Atlanta traffic separating it from campus.

UCF and Bethune-Cookman play regularly and are considered by many UCF fans as a rival...though they don't pose as much of a challenge now.

So are you saying that you hate Bethune-Cookman and look forward to paying them each year? To me that is the very definition of a rival not just an annual matchup. Furman is an example of a hated rival at Georgia Southern but now that we have moved on to FBS I don't think I will care very much if we ever play them again.

Who is predicting KSU to be good? I'm not saying they'll be good, bad, or anything at this point, I'm just not aware of "most" predicting them to be good.

There's not a single FBS program that shouldn't expect to be comfortably better than a FCS program in their fourth year of existence from an athletic department less than a decade removed from division II.

Wondering that too, and looking forward to it playing out. Y'all may recall that my Panthers used to get a fair number of votes in the TSN FCS Top 25. Predictions are funny things.

With that said, on August 22, 2014, I'm not taking that 2018 home opener for granted as a win. Baby steps.
