I don't like it, but I like the idea of team first. He should have just removed the names and left it at that. He could have created an undershirt that said Team or something to that degree. I respect the guy's effort though.

The USF forum is in meltdown mode with fans pissed at what they're calling more gimmicks by Willie Taggart. Other fans are saying they're embarrassed that the department didn't bother looking up NCAA rules and guidelines before making the announcement that was picked up by national media.

I am not being sensitive, but rather just reminding you guys of your own skeletons in the recent past. Some of you old time UCF fans may remember the big UCF press conference that was held announcing a huge donation to the university. The only problem was that nobody had checked to see if the donor actually had the money.

All schools make mistakes and get crap from other fan bases because of it. Today just happens to be USFs turn.

This really is not a bad idea. I like it. I don't see it as a gimmick at all, provided the team actually supported the idea. Perhaps in hindsight, just putting "Bulls" on the back of the jerseys or something similar may have been better, but I am all for shows of unity. Don't see any problem here, whatsoever.

The UKNIGHT idea below makes "The Team" sound like brilliant a idea...
