If 5 Sun Belt teams go bowling out of the 8 that are eligible it would be a great year for the Belt. Ga. Southern and App are not eligible for bowls until next year and Idaho is on APR ban.

Can anyone imagine the reaction of Texas Fans if they had to play ULM in a bowl?

That would be the oddest bowl matchup in history, one of the highest athletic budgets in FBS vs one of the Lowest.

Toledo/Ark State would be an interesting matchup considering the two start a home and home series the next season.

A rematch in the New Orleans bowl? Not sure how the Nola committee or schools would feel about that. I seriously doubt they would be pushing for that. Especially an opponent from that far that didn't travel well the first time.

Well, few expect NMSU or Georgia State to reach eligibility this year, so we've always had only 6 realistic options to begin with.

Yep, and ULM to the Texas Bowl? Not saying they can't get to 7 wins, but the Texas Bowl taking ULM?

This last two weeks is gonna be tough to get through.

ULM has a rough schedule. They play LSU, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Wake Forest (home) both App, and Georgia Southern away. I believe they will get no more than 6 wins with that schedule.

I just hope UL can play a quality opponent that can give us a run for money this year, or a opponent in the P5.

I think four bowls are more likely this year. Five is maybe a stretch but if his predictions come true it would be good for the Belt.
