What else have they had to hang their hat on lately? The fact that they went further in the tournament last year will forever live in the lore of Tennessee basketball.

I think in the minds of their players, their run last year was like spitting in the faces of their fans because of the way they treated Cuonzo. Most of their fans are too dimwitted to realize it. They just beat their chest and carry on with their VFL crap.

1. Documentation demonstrating that the student-athlete would not have had the opportunity to return to the previous institution’s team for reasons outside the control of the student-athlete.

2. A written statement from the applicant institution that the student-athlete is in good academic standing and meets all progress-toward-degree requirements at applicant institution.

3. A written statement from the student-athlete’s previous institution indicating that the previous institution supports the request.

He does not meet the criteria for immediate eligibility due to item #1. This transfer was within his control as were his actions that made this necessary. Pastner is choosing not to throw him under the bus when he very well could and I bet Pastner helps him become eligible.
