BREAKING: Regional public university has hot co-eds who look nice in bikinis. More at 11.

I find it funny that every school needs to put that in their internet resume for conference affiliation. There's hot women everywhere.

And now GaSo will come in here and make goat jokes or something of the sort.

We know each other too well, haha. But in all seriousness, Mo State looks ready to join the Sun Belt. The football stadium looks good now.

I think they'll need one more upgrade before moving up. They are almost there.

Missouri State or ULM would fit the bill, probably ULM is best fit. Forget UL, we belong in the West.

And what is going on with the Georgia twins?

We'll have at least one more phase before we are ready. Next phases include South end zone complex, remodeling lower level of the West (big) side, and ultimately a second deck over this most recent addition.

Interesting. The Missouri State AD denies being contacted recently by the SBC and says any move to FBS football is not a consideration at this time. With a football budget of $2.7 million and football revenues of $513,000, how could they even consider it? They are using $2.2 million in university funds to make up the difference. They are not close to being ready.

They have a $15 million budget and a metro area of 436,712 and only one of two FBS schools in their state. They are fully capable of having a successful move to FBS if they and their fans desire it.

Arkansas State moved up in far worse financial situation and we turned out just fine.

Missouri State has to deny contact. You cant say...

A $15 million dollar athletic budget is not impressive. Not at the FBS level. Missouri State will need to spend at least $4 million more on football alone to move up. The market is not the reason the SBC should add Misssouri State. They are in the #74 TV market.

They are going to either need to add seats to their stadium or tear the whole thing down and build a new stadium. Old Dominion, for example, is replacing their old stadium with a new on-campus 30,000 seat stadium with their move to FBS. That is the cost of moving up to FBS.

The school needs to start winning football games and the fans need to start attending the games. The students will have to add their Bear athletic fee if they want to move up. The school will need to show some interest in moving up.

Have you seen ULM and Georgia Southern's budgets? Have you seen some of the rest of the Sun Belt tv market rankings? Have you seen Georgia State's history of winning football? Have you seen Western Kentucky's stadium capacity? Have you seen FIU and Tulane's attendance?

As for showing interest, they are not going to say a word about it until they decide they are going to make the move.

Our budget is coming up. Last year it was about $12 million, this year it is about $16.5 million, and with the sponsorships we have lined up next year we will be in the $19 million range.

I don't agree with that. Eastern Kentucky has been very open about their interest in moving up. Jacksonville State, Lamar, Liberty among others have expressed interest in moving up. JMU has openly flirted with the idea.

Missouri State is not secretly negotiating with a rival league because they are not interested at this time in moving up. If they were talking to the SBC, why would the MVC care?

You think our AD is lying?

Schools talk with other conferences in secret all the time. North Texas had no interest in CUSA until the day they announced they were moving. If Missouri State was contemplating a move a couple years down the road, than they would most certainly not want the MVC to know...because the MVC could screw with them if things go wrong.

FYI, Liberty, Lamar, and Jacksonville State will never get the votes to move up.

SoCal has probably (nah, easily) been the only SBC fan I've seen that has constantly trashed Missouri State. Don't really get it, but however he wants to get his kicks, it's his life.

Our budget is a little weird because they don't report any of our facilities and a ton of our staff come from the general University budget. Add in those numbers and we are closer to $20 mil
