Missouri State
Terry Mohajir sort of let slip in an interview that the Sun Belt has spoken to Missouri State about joining, but that nothing is imminent, and the league remains in a holding pattern expansion wise.

Do with that what you so choose.

Hope its true but I was born in the "Show Me" state so I will just have to see it to believe it.

RE: Missouri State
I think generally believe Missouri St. would have the support to become a member if they have a desire to join. It would bring about a big discussion of what team would go to the East division-- Missouri St. or one of the Louisiana schools?

I believe the visitor stands were the major part of this upgrade. Here's their thread: http://missouristate.247sports.com/Board...d-25138161

Missouri State adn any candidate for moving up has to be wanting in since autonomy passed. They either move or potentiall fall behind in most sports.

It only makes sense as a replacement for Idaho.

Here's a link to the Missouri State Facilities improvements site with webcam.

http://www.missouristatebears.com/facili...ction.html

The turf is in. According to the project notes, the east side project was a replacement and an upgrade. There was basically no increase in overall capacity. The east side will have a 4,100 capacity. It looks like a very nice improvement based on the before pictures.

Looks like they could go up with a second deck and bowl in the end zone to add an additional 7 or 8 thousand seats fairly easily. That would bring them to around +/- 24,000 capacity.

Still to me adding Missouri St would fantastic but it only makes sense if Idaho goes away and we add another team from the east.

If it wasn't for their 8,700 football attendance average they would be
a lot better consideration. That's a long way from the 15,000 NCAA
minimum.

I like adding them also. Surprised you are not pushing FGCU instead.
Still would not do any good if they cannot get approval because of their football attendance. But I like adding them.
