Tulsa owned Tulane for a few years, we're turning that series around.

2 out of 10 is not most.

I don't know where you get your count, but at the time I wrote it 3 of 6 ECU fans picked the Hurricane. OK, not "most" but better than 2 of 10.
I'm still only counting 2, whatever the comment wasn't necessary anyway.

All the more reason to bet the Green Wave. I think we rip you a new one. Payback from the years of Tulsa beating up on the Wave. We'll see soon!

Lol last year's Tulane win was hardly a resounding victory. 14-7 with multiple turnovers for each side.

We were injury riddled by that time and had just called up our RS-FR QB for his first start. I have no doubt we're going to be improved this year in the passing game as well as defensively.

We'll see if those All-Star safeties of Tulane can handle a Tulsa team that actually has more than 1 receiver.

Possible to earn "double points" on your own schools game?

Since its a running total, the longer the season goes on, the less likely there is of being a tie. Looking at last seasons numbers, nobody had the exact same wins and losses who picked every week and I have to scroll down to #28 and #29 to finally find someone who had identical win/loss predictions.

OK.

The whole point is to pick the game. If you want to leave it as a tie, then I will put you down for whichever team loses after the game.

Plus a college game can't end in a tie, they play OT periods till someone wins. It not like hockey where you can get 2pts if its a tie.

Good point! I forgot about that one. Who does tOSU have as backups? Navy is tough! They may be able to find the weak spot of tOSU's armor.

You can't tell me Tulsa was any more banged up than Tulane who had a RS Freshman making his first start of the year in that game as well.

I think our talent level as a program is way higher than it was three years ago, and we're going to put a beating on you. There's a whole lot of beatings you put on Tulane over the years, payback is a *****. Devon Walker will be a motivating factor.

We'll see on the 28th. That's why they line up and play.

Actually I would say that... We were missing the starting QB, 2 Starting WR's, a couple starting / backup CB's and an All American Safety. I don't remember who we were missing on the O & D lines that day, but I know we had some injuries there as well.

We still have good talent... we should be able to get a lot more done offensively this year.

How is your D Line??? I remember them forcing a TON of pressure last year while our very inexperienced front 5 struggled in pass protection. (like they did all season)

I did pull the trigger Tulane, but not with much confidence. I guess some of the reservation on anointing Tulane stems from its 0-4 record out of state last year.

How is your D Line??? I remember them forcing a TON of pressure last year while our very inexperienced front 5 struggled in pass protection. (like they did all season)

Our D line lost two stallwarts in Davenport and Warmsley, both of whom were signed by NFL teams. But we have a lot of experience coming back, and the two deep chart across the line is as good as last year. Our secondary is the strong point of the D, they're opportunistic and extremely athletic. At least two, Doss and Monroe will play on Sundays. Doss is nominated for about 6 awards. Scofield may play Sundays as well. The linebackers have been a weakness, but the little guy, Bob Marley's grandson (CJ recruited his father, Rohan Marley to "the U") is a ball hawk and fun to watch.

The talent on the offensive side of the ball is young but deep. Lots of speed, which we've lacked the past few years. Talk out of camp is that the O line is the most improved area on the team. If that's the case, we're going to open a whole lot of eyes this year.

Special teams could be a disaster, but they're working on that leading into the season.

This is the most talented team Tulane has put on the field in a long time. I hope their youth doesn't prevent them from becoming bowl eligible, despite the schedule upgrade.

ROLL WAVE!
