Still not sure why Lamela is a starter. I would play Chadli or Townsend over him any day.

Ugh, played well enough to earn a point, but the crappy back 4 give up the goal at the end. Oh well, on to West Ham!

Wolves beat Huddersfield 4-1 today. We are still hanging around those playoff spots.

Wolves' striker, and Irish international Kevin Doyle is in talks with Colorado. Would be a decent signing for them.

Massive result today for qpr getting our first away points of the year at Sunderland and also gets us out of the bottom 3. Insane goal from bobby Zamora on the second.

I would figure the no wins in the last 10 matches thing might have been a hint as well.

You guys have some work to do to get promoted. You're still not in a playoff place yet...and no where near the top two. We will try to send Brom closer to the relegation zone for you tomorrow.

If we keep playing like we've been playing, we'll get at least a playoff spot. We've lost one game in the last 10. A five game pointless streak back in November is whats killing us right now.

Anyone putting money down on relegation candidates might want to consider Burnley. Their next 9 matches is one of the worst stretches I have ever seen.

Man U away
Chelsea away
Swansea home
Liverpool away
Man City home
Southampton away
Spurs home
Arsenal home
Everton away

I had to triple check it was even true. They play Leicester at home on the 25th of April to end the stretch, but if they have a bad stretch, they could be done for before then.

COULD be? COULD?! They're dead in the water. If they get more than two points in that stretch I'd be shocked.

To be entirely fair, I have yet to see proof that Villa or Leicester is going to be getting a ton of points in that time either.

Well, regardless, Burnley'll continue to be bottom three, so they're going to get relegated. Truthfully, the way Villa has been run from the Box down to the Manager is wholly deserving of a relegation to get them all right in the head again.

Again, Thank God Swansea got a ton of points before we sold Bony. We look like crap out there right now. There is just no communication up front, and Bafe Gomis is offering nothing on the ball.

And we've got another midfielder with a 3 match ban coming. Thankfully, this one isnt a starter.

Down 2-0 to Brom.

Gomis is a target man in the box and on occassional runs through and behind. Once I saw that they were trying to make him an on the ball player I knew the Swans were going to have trouble scoring.

Side point: But Southampton REALLY needs Jay Rodriguez back. they've got the same problem with Pelle as Swansea have with Gomis, big target man who would fit well in a service based team, but they possess through the middle, so their style of play just doesn't fit. Rodriguez has great on ball skill and is a borderline clinical finisher when in and around the box. Soton thoroughly dominated every facet of that game today against West Ham and couldn't find the back of the net, that marks two straight games. Luckily for them this one didn't end with a bomb from a troubled attacking midfielder.
