I watched part of that match last night... are games in Turkey always like that I wonder? The crowd would whistle anytime Arsenal had the ball, and it became really loud and annoying when the Gunners would get in the attacking 3rd.

In watching a ton of CL matches where Galatasaray, Besi, and Fenerbahce were opponents, it's definitely a thing throughout the Turkish League. It's always been considered tough traveling to Turkey.

Now it appears a permanent deal could be on the table. Talks are ongoing but still at an early stage.

The situation with Liverpool & Balotelli has moved on in the last 12 hours or so. An initial loan inquiry has led to talks with AC Milan.

Wolves won 1-0 on the road at Fulham. A good 3 points against a big club. Crappy feed, but besides from a couple spells, Wolves looked to be more in control, and more confident. If we play like we have the past couple games promotion could be a real possibility...not sure if I want that right now after last time up, maybe next year...
We really need another striker though, even though we run a 4-2-3-1 someone who could play behind the striker and come up on attacks with a poaching ability would be really useful.

Woah...that's huge
AC Milan just stated that they've had no contact with Liverpool. Could be that his agent is talking to Liverpool and trying to get them to activate his release clause if he has one.
For the record, that's just 4m more than Soton paid for Shane Long. Rodgers is a brilliant man manager. He's turned alleged head cases (Sterling and Sturridge) into world class players. I'm not worried about Balotelli's attitude at all.

One of the most confusing transfer portfolios in history. Bought by Man City for £24M, score 30 goals in 80 games and is sold for £18M to Milan, scores 30 goals in 54 games and is subsequently sold to Liverpool for £16M. This kid must just be Latrell Spreewell, Kellen Winslow, Gilbert Arenas, and Stephon Marbury all rolled into one inside the locker room

With a splash of Johnny Football.
I'm still excited. Let's sell Borini to Sunderland now, and we will have upgraded our #2 for 2m. Theoretically at that point, we could still be in the market for Reus, another CB, and/or another CDM.
Moreno + Balotelli = the same amount Man Utd paid for Ander Herrera, who looked like a boy amongst men on Saturday.

Tim Howard taking a much needed year off from international duty at the best time possible. Only big thing he misses is the Gold Cup but that allows his successor to get a tournament under their belt for when Howard eventually does retire from international play.

If that result doesn't show you how little they care about the EL, I don't know what will lol
