And Ottawa is better, yea no.
I'm still wondering why the court was so wet. Grant said CJP was mopping it up himself at one point.
Yup, a well done interview...quick thoughtful questions and CJP was at ease.

I agree.. when he slows it down, and thinks about it too much he's no good. When he just simply tells it like it is, without all the coach speak and being all defensive.. he can be just great!

It takes two to make a good interview. A person being interviewed may act like he doesn't know, but he/she can 'feel' the intentions of the interviews. The Media wants drama. They want to be able to take one thing you said out of context and make something out of it. It's their bread and butter.
Why do you think Coach Popavich blasts right by the media sometimes without giving an interview. Here's one of my favorite Pop moments.
"I know. I'm a jerk. I'm going to go ahead and admit it publicly to the whole world. Tell me what to do. What should I do? The quarter ends, you just got outscored by 12 points, they had eight offensive rebounds so the question will be ‘you just got outrebounded by X amount so what are you going to do about it?' I don't know. Am I going to make a trade during the timeout? I don't know. I'm going to do drills here for a while by the time the game starts, I don't know. I'm not going to do anything. I'm just going to go back to the bench and hope we play better. I don't know how to answer so sue me for being stupid and not having the answers to the questions."

You and a few others really want to drive that point home. It's a good one, though.
What an exciting new thing--to see our team pull together instead of fracture. Our guys have never played one game as a team, but they pulled together to make a really good comeback. This was partially due to our 'veterans' cheering the new kids on every time they made a good play...even though we were 30 pts down.
Splintering apart... It's one of the most painful things to watch and feel when you are a 'fan'--your team/your army splintering apart. For a coach it must be even worse, because they take the responsibility.
So maybe we could let CJP have his joy in the fact his young men didn't splinter..or we can continue to make fun of it. It's always about choice...yea, no?

This is the most important thing that I want to see throughout the season.
The reason we got blown out so much last year is because a few guys tried to "do it themselves" when things got bad and it made things worse.
If guys continue to play together you will make runs and not get blown out nearly as often.

Meh, no need to explain it to either of them, they very well know this. It's their new repetitive theme for the reason, every time Pastner says splinter, they'll jump on command and start complaining about the coach.
yea I guess so....I just wanted to put it out there for the ones who follow blindly, just in case that syndrome is reversible.
